So the car is ready. But you will never believe what's gone wrong now! The Snap-On trolley jack has chose this exact moment to die and I can't get it off the axle stands! Seriously f**k my life!

9.37am. f**k this. It's time for Mcdonnalds. 182 rear beam is on but one shock bolt has snapped torquing it up so I need to pop out anyway! Another hour or so and she will be ready for geo! :)

08.03am MWMSport&Shedspeed 1- Clio read beam 0

7.26am Will this poxy rear beam come off! Will it hell! Bolts a seized to buggery. Going to need a Mcdonnalds breakfast in a minute to see off the relentless shakes!

05.55am And she's back in the game! Now any normal person would say right, job done, time for bed! But as there's no point going to bed now, we're going to turn it round and fit a 182 rear beam instead!

04.35 Got the relentless shakes now! Progress is defiantly starting to slow down however, it's the radiator and fluids away from being able to start it up and see if this all nighter was worth the effort!

03.32am Engine is now fully built and in the whole. Next step. Connect everything up and wait for a shops to open to get an oil filter.

2.43am The 182 front anti rollbar is on and the engine is completely built with gearbox attached! Next step! In the hole!

01.20am Engine is almost ready to go back in. Just doing the cambelt and the auxs. Just about to start the 3rd can of relentless. That stuff is epic! I've also decided to swap to my 182 cup pack front anti roll bar to help stiffen up the front end.

23.35 Old engine out and stripped of all useful parts. Arp's installed in new bottom end, and new engine starting to go back together.

22.39 Been to Birmingham to see Fred! Smashing bloke. Pleasure to finally meet you mate! When I was I Fred's my mate Charles ground in all the valves and rebuilt the cylinder head. The second I got back, I removed the engine.

Right work is done for the day. Time to focus on the Clio for the rest of the day. I will be updating this as the day/night/morning goes!

So. 2days till Bedford, 160,000 miles and a 7850 rev limiter has taken its tole one the engine. On the way home tonight the s@*%# thing has cracked a ring-lan and breathed 90% of the sump full of oil all over my freshly cleaned engine bay.........****! No drama tho. It will be at Bedford!

Can't say I've ever heard of that. Plenty of big power Cossies and Focus RS's run on them mint! Maybe it's just the Clio ones that like to die.

Never had an issue with the denzo iridium's. Especially in boosted stuff. Bosch plugs in a Clio how ever. Yuk!

It feels like the car is staying perfectly still, but ripping the world round under its wheels. A very epic feeling.
