    Timing Belt Dilemma

Just ordered a belt from wests, I'll swap it out myself, looks rather easy. As for the cam stuff I'll bring it down south at some point in the near future, my parents are in the midlands. Cheers for all the advice, much appreciated! Tom

    Timing Belt Dilemma

Thanks everyone, it is a non air con, I'd looked at the guides section and only saw the air con version which looks a bit more involved! Will get a belt and swap it over. Many thanks again, Cheers, Tom

    Timing Belt Dilemma

Hi, I bought an 172 Cup a couple of months ago, just before I came down south (Leaving the Clio in Scotland for a couple of weeks) I did a bit of a service - filters, oil etc and a dog bone poly bush. Whilst I was doing this I noticed that the Aux belt had a split along its length. I’d not...

Curborough Sprint Course - 18-09-11 - Photo Heavy

Cheers, there's clearly some money in the area. Shame though really, some of the drivers had cars that were far too powerful for them and they ended up druving them like a granny!

    Nikon CHA Error

Hi all, At the weekend I went to a local sprint meeting and took my camera along, took a few photos then half way through a burst the camera stopped responding and gave a CHA error. I turned the camera off and back on and all the photos on both of the CF cards had gone :dapprove: Has anyone...

After going to a beer festival yesterday afternoon, followed by a night out in town ending in not getting to bed until 5.30 this morning I needed some fresh air to help with the hangover. Went along to Curborough, they had the Shenstone District Car Club Sprint on, I've not been in over a year...

    Torque wrench range?

Thanks for the replies. I've been looking at the Halfords wrenches, does anyone have any good/ bad experiences with them? They seem to get good reviews online and for ~£150 I could get the 8-60 and 60-300. Any recommendations welcomed. Cheers, Tom

    Torque wrench range?

Hi, I'm in the market for a new torque wrench, what range should I be looking at to cover the majority of torque settings on a 172? Obviously there won't be a one size fits all so I will probably end up getting a couple to get the full range. Thanks in advance, hope this is the right section...
