Sad day for me, RIP 182 but what to do next?

*IF* we have a suspected cambelt failure, WHY THE HELL did your expert mechanic try and jump start it?!?! *IF* the cambelt had snapped, he would have just done even more damage! I'm hoping you mean he checked the belts, saw no signs of damage and then tried to start it........

    In car freeview..

I did about 6 years ago, was alright at the time. just had to retune everytime you wanted to use it. Might have been due to the fact that the digital signal wasn't great at the time, might have been the fact it was in a car and your always moving. (I used to drive a lot for work, so could be...

    Can anyone explain this?!

it also means if some scumbag c**t gets into your garage, they're less likely to be seen f**king about with the alarm on your pride and joy than if they do it in the street.

Looking for a camera *n00b alert*

This is problem no. 1 She doesn't actually know what she wants, if you start talking technical she switches off and just nods and agrees I have considered this option, but then I haven't used my own initiative, apparently (woman logic) this is good advice, especially as I see Jessops...

Looking for a camera *n00b alert*

lol, a quick google and heart palpitations later. I had around £350 in mind as a budget, but then the Nikon L820 caught my eye as argos have it on a (nearly)half price special @£120

Looking for a camera *n00b alert*

Hi Guys, I'm looking for a camera for my wife for Christmas as she's been saying all year she thinks she'd like to get into photography and tbh her point and shoot is getting on a little now. Now the problem I'm having comes about as I know very little about cameras. I don't trust salesmen and...

I had a fight with an 18 wheeler and lost

I was expecting an epic wreckage from the thread title. much disappoint. Kick it out as much as possible and run it into the ground. and lesson learnt for the future, 1.2's are not good weapons for 'quick overtaking manoeuvres'

    sun strip banner!

I used limo black tint film on the inside. it blocks sunlight, doesn't interfere with the wipers, you can see though it, doesn't shout boy racer like a 'real' sunstrip does. and providing your not a total satchel and go super low with it, its perfectly legal (can't remember the % of glass it can...

172 cup glass transplant to a non cup

it's your car, do what you want. it'll make little difference on a road car, but if you plan on tracking it or pushing more performance from it, losing as much weight as possible is always a good starting point.

172 cup glass transplant to a non cup

cup glass is supposedly lighter / thinner. probably a shitty job though, hate doing windows.

PH shed of the week - Clio 172

the amount of nobbers commenting on there suggesting they'd sort the cambelts themselves for £130 is mad. Won't be shocked when this comes up for sale next week mega cheap but needing a new engine.
