Same as a vinyl wrap, needs to be declared. Regardless of which insurance company you are with, it needs to be declared.

I'd say about 95% go through with out issue of query.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, it is very rare that we have an issue with a Markerstudy claim and we place several £million of business with them.
The review sites mentioned are a farce. Where are the good reviews from that...
Drop me a PM Jaff and I'll have a look at the details.
Thanks

We place £millions with Markerstudy and wouldn't do so if our customers had problems. Problems will occur in this industry, as soon as the slightest thing goes wrong people are vocal about it. Those review sites are set up by moaners, for moaners.

Maybe, maybe not. A lot of people fraudulently insure their vehicle at a lower rated postcode than where they actually live so it is going to ring alarm bells with the insurer, and so it should!

Nice story, thanks for sharing. Reminds me of my 17th birthday and looking out of the window as my Dad drove up the driveway in my new car : )
Tip of hat to parents

Put pressure on your own insurers to resolve this, they should be working on your behalf.

Ok, we can offer TPFT cover for 19-21 year old (subject to 2 years driving experience) but I appreciate TPFT may not be ideal.
Thanks

The first thing to do would be to contact your insurer to see how much it will cost to swap over for the remainder of the policy.
When the policy is up for renewal , shop around and feel free to get in touch, we insure all Type R Models in high volumes.
Thanks

The refusal to recognise a car they have insured and recorded on their documents , can only be described as backward.
Refusing to offer the true value only to back down when the magic FSA word was issued also can only be described as backward.
Of course though, that is my opinion.
Cheers...
Well done to your dad Adam. It sounds like your father may move insurers anyway but as I said on another thread this morning, unfortunately the insurer he is with are well known for upping premiums for non-fault claims
Just a word of warning.. you are with an insurance group who load for non-fault claims, your price is likely to go up next year unfortunately.

I've bought ex police cars before, had no problems other than when they take all the radio gubbins at, they tend to get lazy when putting the interior back together.

Hard to break Dave, engine are strong and can take a bar of boost all day, every day. I've covered tens of thousands of miles in various Uno Turbos (I've owned 4), sure they had the odd issue but they are easy to work on, parts aren't that difficult and they really are the original pocket...
