You've probably done it already but no need for front bumper off, just a bolt on the alt and another under the fuel rail guard. Shake the bracket and if it moves tighten it back up. easy :D

I had this problem the other month, have you checked th alt bracket to see if its loose at all? That solved my problem tightning it back up!

I got a non cup'd 172 and it's on 50mm lowering springs on the front. To be fair the ride is horrendous, So I seen on here that cup suspension should be able to make the ride less bouncy and trashy. so does 172 cup suspension fit a 172 non cup? If not, anyone want to recomend some low priced...
