Race car, wife and GF would definitely be more than I have time for ;)
We've only been together 12 years and have 3 kids, no need to rush into things. Getting married in May!
Mallory Test 15/8/12
Tony told me he an Jay were heading over to Mallory for a test day and I figured it would be a good idea to get some experience on that track before my first race, so I booked the day and hired a trailer.
It was the first time I've towed a car in about 15 years, but it all...
I told Dave ;) I noticed I scarred Pete off the circuit and he didn't want to play any more after that :(

Fitted a my cams and a new cambelt yesterday.
Decided on a red cam cover this time.
New cambelt and bits to go on.
All back together.
Took it out this evening and did about 20 miles in it and it all seems fine. So now I am back were I was 6 weeks ago lol!
Need to give it an oil...
I think this was just my carelessness :o
Pretty sure I didn't check the aux belt was running correctly around the crank pulley, as I hadn't taken it off. But it must have moved...
Quite a bit to update!
I missed my first race at Anglesey after a little mishap with my aux belt.
I put a new clutch in. Had the engine back in and started it up started fine and I was giving it a once over when I thought something wasn't right with the aux belt. Then I saw it was shredding...
