    I told Dave ;) I noticed I scarred Pete off the circuit and he didn't want to play any more after that :( Pete mine is probably heavier than yours too, I have not done any lightening apart from the basic interior and I even still have glass windows. Plenty for me to work at for next year.

    OMP Roll Cage bolts

    The bolts to hold the cage down and fix front to back are M8. Door bars are bigger M10 or M12. Get at least 8.8 high tensile steel. There's nothing special about them really. No bolts in the fitting kit.

    Sometimes cup shafts have ABS rings, click is more likely to be a balljoint.

    They are the correct thread and seat angle. Is 24mm long enough though I can't remember.

    It is probably a faulty coolant temp sensor just reading a little low.

    You would need different valve springs at least to go to anything like 422s or 423s so would be head off. You may also need to have the pistons machined or go high comp to stop valve piston contact due to the larger duration.

    Fitted a my cams and a new cambelt yesterday. Decided on a red cam cover this time. New cambelt and bits to go on. All back together. Took it out this evening and did about 20 miles in it and it all seems fine. So now I am back were I was 6 weeks ago lol! Need to give it an oil...

    You can't disable the auto wipers/turn to normal intermitent action. I'm sure I've heard you can fit a ph1 stalk but don't know myself.

    Quite a bit to update! I missed my first race at Anglesey after a little mishap with my aux belt. I put a new clutch in. Had the engine back in and started it up started fine and I was giving it a once over when I thought something wasn't right with the aux belt. Then I saw it was shredding...

    gasket sealant!

    You could have just used sealant on the oil breather instead of buying the gasket. The renault manual for the ph1 uses sealant rather than the gasket.
