Nice work on the rear beam Ian. I was planning on doing this too, they bend so easily!
Sorry to hear about the impreza, I wasn't able to get down pembrey as I had to work, I heard you where having a few issues, hope it isn't to costly!
I'm up epynt next Sunday but only spectating. Hopefully...
I've had a slight issues with the rally car lately with it running lean and also all the injectors being damaged at the last rally I did.
I removed the fuel pump and there was quite a bit of metal filings in the petrol so put it down to the pump breaking and ruining the injectors.
After a...
I run a cup racer flywheel which has an extra tooth taken out for magnetti Marelli ecu, would be ok to do this to a ktec lightened flywheel? I presume I would need to get it balanced again?
Little bit of an update- finally sorted the misfire we had at the rally.
Turned out to be a knackered fuel pump which in turn had destroyed the Injectors, when we removed the fuel pump there was quite a few metal filings in the tank.
When removing the pump I also noticed that the regulator was...
Don't quote me on this, but when I did the rally back in dec a scrutineer form the Msa came over for a chat and I think he had something to do with the clio cups racers, he said in really wet condition they disconnected the arb and also loosened the top mount bolts on the rear suspension to...
Yep, but still on Tarmac, the s1600 didn't run one either, where still playing around with the setup, but advantage is having the 2way adjustable suspension, also still playing a round with spring rates.
Ye he just runs a auxiliary audio cable running straight from the intercom which is a peltor to the camera
Also has a external record button which he puts up on the cage, which is handy, I just have to remember to turn it on before I start the stage :)
Tbh I'm not completely sure, it's a friend of mine who does all the incar footage for me, his YouTube channel here http://m.youtube.com/user/Sparcoxs?desktop_uri=%2Fuser%2FSparcoxs
I think he uses the gopro2 as he thinks it better than the newer 3, but don't quote me on that because I haven't go...
Cheers mate, ye was a bit of a shame, really started to get in to it too, just need to get as much time in the seat now. Box was amazing, still need to have a fiddle with the shimming on the flat shift sensor as started to have a few issues with changing up on the second stage, but apart from...
I used millers in my old box too which was also synchro box with LSD which was fine but after speaking to a few people they think for a sequential it won't be up too much at prolonging the life of the dog rings and gear teeth at high temps. During service at the rally it was like water coming...
I don't think so, regs only been out for week now, you can the regs from here,

Think about doing it? Should be a fair few clios out then, there was 3 of us last Sunday :)
Cheers Kenny, yea was really slippery probably not the best of conditions for the first event lol hopefully it will be a little drier next time
Ye I'm quite glad it wasn't anything major, hopefully a new set of injectors and maybe a in-line external fuel filter will help them last a little...
No worries James, that's what this forum is for :) I pretty sure that they will fit but the rear one needs a little persuasion to get on, I know the uk cup racer sequential uses the jc5 casing so I don't see why it wouldn't fit :) I'm sure Ian or someone with a cup racer with the stsda box could...
Hi James, ye running the cup racer mounts so won't be to difficult for me to tub the arch, I could imagine it will be quite difficult when using the standard mounts, didn't Kenny do something with the mounts when he tubbed the arches on his car?
Cheers mate, I had kumho k12's cut to intermediates, which weren't up to much on the first stage but worked much better on the second! Only problem I've got with them is the clearance, I may go over to Pirelli as they have a smaller tyre wall. Then possibly tube the front arches when I get chance :)
Ye turned out to be the injectors, thanks for lending me them spark plugs, really appreciate it. Need to get a spares package together now plugs, leads etc
