Thats not to bad, just had a look at the parts catalogue and it's only 435 euros new plus the exchange rate isn't to bad at the moment, I'll give rsport a ring and see if there still available :)
^ I've bought mounts just waiting for them to arrive, so haven't had chance to look at the rear gearbox mount yet.
^^ I have though about buying a subframe but seen as im going to be strengthening it I might as well try and do it with the one I've got, how much are they brand new these days...
I've had a good look today with the engine out and these mounts fit but only if I lose the power steering pump, so looks like I will be switching to a saxo/106 pump and mounting this under scuttle the same as the cup racer,
If anybody would be so kind and take the dimension of the front mounting...
Thanks for that but I've got the parts catalogue :) If anybody could send me some detailed pics of the front cup race engine mounting points on the subframe that would be really appreciated. I need to get this right because I don't want the engine on a wonk lol
The box is coming with shafts lever and linkage, I've also managed to get hold of cup mounts, I did read on here that the euro subframe uses I different rear gearbox mount to the older spec subframe because of the different box, it looks to me that this mount goes were the twisted dog mount goes...
Good to hear your gearbox is finally sorted :)
Sorry to ask this on your thread but I've managed to sort a sequential(st75) and I'm trying to sort out the subframe and mounts now, does anybody know if I can just modify the subframe to take the cup mounts or do I need to buy a euro spec subframe?
I'm sure that the stdsa gearbox use helical cut gears with a straight cut final drive and diff were the st75-14 is a full straight cut set up, a lot stronger than the older style stdsa, I might be wrong but that what I've been told, been looking for a sequential for a while, nearly had one of...
I use this with my box too and that's with a sadev diff and shorter final drive, never had any problems, but it is on the expensive side at 55quid for 5 litres
This is the one I'm going to fit

I'm going to be fitting this one when I get my ap brake kit next month :)
Im sure a 172 cup or none abs has all m10 fitting. On a 406 or 806 master van the master cylinder from 99year I think that has 4 ports with all m10 fittings, i'll try and get a link to the eBay one I bought
That's vid is mad, I've been telling powerflex for the last couple of weeks that these bushes just aint good enough, and there is a lot of people having problems with them. All they keep saying is that my bushes were an isolated case!! Bulls**t!
This is what powerflex have sent me the other day. You can see they have flared the sleeves and have sent me stronger/stiffer bushes, they said that is a 95 Polyurethane compared to the 80 which is used in the normal kit
I've just received new set from powerflex after mine deformed from 12miles of driving, they sent me flared sleeves with a harder bushes so will see how I get on with them, but I still reckon they won't last long as the sleeves are far to thin!
Ye I had the same problem with the powerflex bushes. I've spoken to them and they are going to revise the design and are putting thicker sleeves in. They are sending me a set in a couple of days so will put the pictures up as soon as they arrive. Plus im getting them for free :)
Just been offered these for my rally car
They are kw 2way adjustable with 60N h&r springs,
Has anybody had any experience with these? never used kw before so was wondering if they will be a good buy??
No not yet, but I can take it down any time, I did a rally sprint down pembrey last sat, had second fastest time of the day only a second slower than a 40grand mk2 escort so was pleased with that :)
