    It was loose , i doubt the garage sorting the gearbox touched it. Threads could be shot and were when you bought it but it certainly wasnt the air filter

    reality is you would never own a set unless you maybe lived in the far reaches of scotland though ..... they are a pain on roads not covered in ice or snow ..... from personal experience.

    Your information is incorrect .It is not illegal to use studded tyres in the uk in apropriate conditions. And you might find speculation but you wont find any law that states you cant . And a quick google finds my belief confirmed on pistonheads

    Yes you are supposed to stop and take them off Drive on tarmac with socks and they shread thats where chains are better . However if you that worried would you not fit winter tyres I have a set of Maggi Trak sport chains as they can be adjusted to fit all our cars .....

    Parking cuts will not fail an mot , that area of the tyre is normally just a rim protector to serve as a buffer to rim damage , most garages would glue that down rather than stick a new tyre on. if you have a bulge then the structure of the carcass is damaged and you risk a blowout something...

    you might want to calculate that again ;) it would be balanced but near enough -2 degs .............. 1 degree = 60 arc minutes , so 1deg 51' is 1 degree 51 minutes , half a degree is 30 mins his LR camber is near as damit spot on ..... And sorry to be pedantic because your advice has...

    You will get noise however when you replace them dont bother getting the same again as there is no benifit andblots of negatives
