Ok so if i want to go any lower i'll need coilies...
Anyone care to guess how much mine's been lowered? Or could anyone at least tell me the best way to measure it/find out!

Basically, I don't know how much it's lowered because the previous owner didn't know (lol)... I'm guessing around 40mm, but your guess is probably a lot better than mine. What I do know is that it's on springs, and not coilovers.
However, it's a 1.2L and it's...
The grille isn't too bad, I had a mate help me and we got it off within a few minutes... New one was easy to put on... I'm having huge problems with the removing the splitter though and I know i'm gonna end up breaking stuff unless I take the front bumper off entirely.
I looked at them for a pug 206 and they were hundreds of £... why so expensive compared to this?
What benefits does a new manifold bring as well.. noise + small power gain?
Only filled up my car once and I don't have a trip computer...
/fail
Used over half a tank getting up to FCS, following the RS's all the way was not good for my poor little car :( Foot flat for miles at a time just to keep them in sight lol
Fair enough... It's not something i'm looking to do right now but it's something i definitely want to do in a few years when it's affordable :)
It's good to know that you can learn everything without too much hassle and things like online guidance can actually be really helpful.. thanks bro
Bomber, i'm guessing you do all of the work on your car yourself... I'm just wondering where you learnt how to do everything?
One day i'd love to build my own car, but currently I know nothing about engines.. Where would I start?
Cheers
Yehh basically the guy in the 206 is my best mate, and he knows the vxr owner through the peugeot forums (he used to own a 206 gti until a few weeks back)... thought he'd provide some entertainment for you lot lol :p

Because I always go to these kind of events with mates I never really find myself saying hi to new people which means I miss out on half of the experience :(
It was just about ok haha, was literally red lining every gear but was struggling when we exited roundabouts etc lol... I was just chilling at the back with the red 1.2 and the blue mk3 but I kept up with the rest and it was great fun :)
Did anyone have fun with the vxr?
A mate of mine took these photos, album is on facebook but I thought i'd copy the pictures across into a thread as well...

It was a great day, went home after the parade lap because I was so tired but I...
Well it was my first FCS and I had an awesome day, drooled at most of the cars there and i'm in envy of some of the guys on here who have amazing clios :( Those Japspeed drift cars are out of this world and the girls are just as nice :) was surprised it was that boyzone guy (Shane Lynch) driving...
Exact same thing happened to mine, they considered writing it off and the damage was close to £2k.. They've done a good job on fixing it but the boot still doesn't close completely.
