Love the look of this mate and how its progressed over the years, its good to see that its getting some love again lol :P
Love the headlight blanks, ive been thinking of doing these myself but is it much hassle to get the light units in and out all the time cos id only use them for when on...
Ok lol, i keep doing that and it just does its own thing lol, might have to play around with the strap underneath and see what happens :)
Guessing mine isnt of the best quality haha (i might take that back if i get it to fit)
Sorry, also meant to say mine came up at times with nothing but obv you cant rely on the indicator anyway, just annoying when something isnt working as it is intended to!
Its sorted itself now anyway but good to know what was up so if it does it again i know why.
As Tigger and gilmour182...
Thats cool, was wondering more what experiences people have had with them and what they've paid for different things, what options offered are best etc.
I'm looking to get the car properly setup and laser aligned etc at some point in the nearish future. Ive seen alot of people on here saying nothing but good things about Mark Fish and what he does and his car proves that tbh but was wondering if anyone has had their car setup by him and how much...
This looks awesome mate and like others have said fair play for doing something different!
Quick question, how did you get your bonnet bra to fit that well and smooth? I got one with mine when I bought the car but it seems to crease from the bonnet corners :s don't know if it's never gonna...
Re: Cliosport Saturday - The Launch of a New Era
Is anyone heading up from Essex way? I've only met a few peeps at the Essex rolling road day a couple of weeks ago so would love to go and bunk in someones room/ campsite if possible please lol as long as nothing else comes up :)
also, with offset, the lower the number, the wider they sit. So you'll probably find that with the greater offset but narrower wheel, they'll fit about the same.
Ok, cheers, with the contact area it works out to be about 13-14% less i think give or take so not dramatically less but I can see...
I know they're VW fit but same as the clio as far as im aware as you can fit turbines between the different cars, I just wondered what they would fit like on my non cup 182, what with being 6J wide and all and with the offset being ET38 (from what i can tell from trawling through threads on here...
Quality pics mate, read the whole thread and think it's awesome and so different :)
Think that's a great idea with the cam choice too, should sound amazing on idle!
Mine did this not long after I got it when I started it on a slope of any kind and just showed as a line of dashes. I found that I could turn the ignition off, take the dipstick out and put it back in again and it would clear and show as oil ok so was obviously because the oil was too low even...
I absolutely love the look of this car and the way that it's heading, it's pretty much the plans that i've got for mine but with pink detailing instead of the blue :) and without the extreme engine mods atm lol!
Just one question, how deep is the sunstrip that you've got and where did it come...
This project keeps getting better and better :)
I would love to aim towards this for mine but don't know if i've got the balls to go as far and extreme as you have or got the money to do so lol!
As others have said, a big thanks to Vicky and TDI. I had a great day, especially for my first meet :)
Was good to meet everyone and hopefully the first of many.
Big thanks again :D
Guessing these are correct for mine lol, can't wait for this, be good to meet everyone being my first meet an' all :D

I have been considering that as i've heard extremely good things about him and what he does.
I can't find any trader site on here and the website doesnt have any info on it, is he just contactable by phone or is he on here...
Hi there, basically i want to stiffen up the front suspension and lower the car all round a bit more. As above the coilovers fitted are Gaz GHA i believe as i can adjust the damping aswell as the height of the suspension.
I've never adjusted coilovers before and obviously don't want to bugger...
That looks lovely mate ;)
I've just bought myself a BG 182 a couple of weeks ago and think they look awesome, within two hours of buying it, i'd already booked my first bit of track time and it performed brilliantly, might aswell enjoy it ehh lol. The next thing i need to do is get the 3/4...
I attempted to fit my rear one today but couldn't manage to get the plastic strip off in the middle, prised all the bottom clips out but couldn't get to the top ones due to the polystyrene crash protection stuff behind the bumper so gonna have a go at it again tomo and see how far i get lol...
I managed to do it in the end mate, luckily had a bolt large enough laying around at work, it's an M16 by about 50mm long like others on here have said, i cut it a bit longer and spaced it out with a few washers. And yeah, just cut the original tow eye hole into a thin rectangle just enough so i...
Been following your thread for a while now and the car looks epic :approve:
I saw in the thread you mentioned about the tow straps, i've just got a TRS one for the front of mine, its only a short one, but was wondered how you fitted yours and if you had to cut the front lower grill to feed it...
