That 90 is quality!
Would love one at that spec myself.any weekends of green leaning coming your way haha!
Have you got many more plans for it or just use it? Perfect spec as it is it seems.
Good to hear Nick, another racer to add to the group haha! One day I might make it up there, one day...
Like many though, I thought it would be fairly difficult from what I've heard but doesn't sound too bad from this.
This car's a credit to you, awesome bit of kit!
That's a shame about the engine but it definitely got a lot of potential with the new manifold on, it will be interesting to see how far you manage to push it power/ torque wise.
All I can advise is get the rad sitting roughly in position at least and then try and gauage it from there or just wait until its all in and fit and bend the pipe that way, that's the way I did mine, was much easier in routing respects.
Tbh the best way to do it is just constant little tweaks until it fits where you're happy with it, you won't be able to just bend it in one way and have it fit perfectly as it's quite tight on the length of the pipe as it is, you'll need a fair few bends in a few directions. I spent ages doing...
Is that bolt not from the lower gearbox mount? There should be 2 on either side/corner and the one at the top on the end of the gearbox secures the earthing strap so check that's all on too mate.
Absolutely love these and that pic really sells the colour! Mountune kits not likely to be releasing that much power and torque due to what various components can take sadly but we'll have to wait and see!
Very very cheap if you go to the right dealer Chris ;) My blue ones due September 1st...
Ok mate, cheers for that. Did you prep it all properly I.e. rub it all back etc or just wipe it over with thinners quickly and then paint it straight on as the stuff I was looking at needs etch primer etc so hammerite seems the easier and much cheaper choice.
Tbh the pillars and panels were...
Love how this thing is coming along! Getting better and better!
Quick question, what paint have you used to paint the floor as I need to do it on mine soon and don't really fancy spraying/masking off and so on- I know you can get some paint on stuff but wondered what you've used for yours...
Basically I want to strip as much weight as possible from my 182 which has got AC and I'm in the process of removing the the whole aircon system (cup alternator etc).
I can obviously just remove the AC components from the standard heater box and put it back together but I'm just wondering how...
I absolutely love the look of this! Exactly the same path as I'm taking with mine with the aircon removal and weight saving etc
The headlights look awesome like that too, tempted to do it with mine for track use to save weight and change the look a bit plus a cool air feed point direct to the...
So on the basis of what his car's 'putting out' (said in the loosest term of the saying) the majority of the clios on here are well over 200bhp as pretty much everyone has an exhaust and some kind of aftermarket air filter lol!
Lol, cheers :) I wasn't too sure on it when I was coming up with the idea but everyone out there seemed to love it so guess I did something right haha!
I think I got a few low 9/ high 8 laps in if it weren't for the amount of stoppages we had over that weekend. There were a couple of other guys...
Cheers for that Dave, very helpful indeed :) that might do for the time being then. Just deciding whether to take the plunge or not as keep considering putting the full standard interior back in but always wanted a cage in it and they do look awesome :/
I was in the stickered up 182 (kind of cup car rep-esque) was over there with a mint 205gti and a Liquid Yellow R26 :). I'll try and upload a pic.
Looks awesome though and like you said it'd be rude not to do it all lol!
Looks awesome, even better than it did at the ring when I saw it earlier this year! The cage in white looks wicked against the black floor. Matt black by any chance and did you spray aroud the door shuts too?
Why is it everything in America looks, well just better and cooler :( ?
It'd never be the same over here, you'd need rose tinted glasses at least to get weather like that lol!
Ok mate, cheers for that. Do you think you'd be able to fit one of these cages if the standard passenger seat was still fitted? (Got a drivers bucket but not a passenger one just yet). Just wondering if the seat belt can still be used ok and that the cage doesn't block that completely.
Cheers
That looks lovely, absolutely love sunflower!
The cage looks awesome too, does yours have points to bolt to the upper seat belt mounts or is it just the normal 4 point cage (2 floor, 2 rear arches)?
Just wow, that truly is epic! The amount of bloody gearboxes, engines and brake callipers he's gone through is ridiculous lol! Defo be following that from now on oh and his garage
