I really like them although I am a bit biased as mines been on turbines (although in the original style- grey with the exposed metal) for the last year lol! The colours different but compliments the blue quite well I think.
Only thing, what size are the tyres as they look quite chunky compared...
Looks like a Sierra dash and mirrors to me although sounds like no cossie I've ever heard lol!
Just realised it says on the video tags Sierra, cosworth etc etc.
Go me, I got it right haha :)
The reason it's drops so quickly is down to the fact that the flywheel doesn't have the momentum that a flywheel of normal weight would to keep it going. The more weight/mass, the more momentum/inertia it's got which keeps the movement going for longer. If the flywheel is lighter then the engine...
As above, cut it out and weld a plate in if it bothers you that much.
Have a look at Kenny_cups (think that's his username) thread as he did this in his but only as it's being built as a hardcore track car amongst other reasons, it might help you out a bit if you can't get hold of a new floor.
This was at Brands a couple of weeks ago testing when I was doing a trackday there and it looks amazing, best 205 I think I've ever seen by far!
Extremely quick and seemed very well setup too, cocked a rear wheel on near enough every corner though lol! Left me for dead within seconds each time...
The diff route certainly seems like the better idea at the mintue and could gain you those extra couple of seconds a lap. Are you going for the gripper diff or the quaife? Can't remember what you said about them a while ago.
Have you got any pics of the car since it's been stickered up etc? I...
On a non sport, I'd say the standard moulded ones look fine but personally don't think they'd suit the sports.
A definite no to rally flaps, unless of course it was a rally car and then it could be acceptable lol!
That garage :o the noise of these is amazing! Definitely a want to own car one day...best get saving now!
You lucky f**k! How did you manage to get that arranged? Can you just book it all through the net or have you got friends/contacts out there?
Whichever way have fun! I'd love to do...
Wow, that is a mess and he is extremely lucky to say the least. Can't believe how he got his helmet/hans device wedged around the cage :/
Really does show cages do their jobs!
Ahh right, we got into Eddie's ok and only booked a few weeks ago although there is a biggish group of us so we've got a nice big apartment :) Hopefully be doing a second trip later in the year too!
I run 15's daily and I've got a set of OZ F1's for track with the Sport Cups on
Mine being on 15's changed it so much, felt better in every way. Good to hear, a bit earlier than before aren't you?
I'm going back but not until the 21st July. Can't wait :)
Looking good, really want to do Oulton aswell. I've got myself some Pilot Sport Cups for my next trackday so I'll experience the semi-slick feeling then :/
I remember seeing this at the 'Ring last year in July but never got chance to speak to you or see in the car park etc, was going well then too!
Looking good Mark, shame about the ballast issues but needs must and all that ;)
The pictures from Brands look good, I've got to upload mine still but my internet at home's playing up and I have got a few of yours that I'm pretty pleased with :)
Just heard about this from a mate funnily enough and spotted it here, seems a fair few from here are over there ATM on the trackday he was on, let's hope they have a better day tomorrow!
This trip looks epic. There's no other words to describe it, it looks absolutely beautiful there and the photos you've taken are lovely :)
You've definitely got me wanting to go there now, never even really thought of it before reading this tbh but looks like the trip to the USA the missus...
Looks great and seems like a really good guide. I love photography and using my camera but I never really do anything with any of my shots. Things like this really make me want to get into editing them :)
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Cheers mate, a few people have said that :o No worries, I was either fiddling with the car or buzzing round in mine or my mates cars most of the afternoon anyway so wasn't really about. I'm sure I'll see you...
That would be mine, cheers mate :o I wasn't too sure how people would react on here to a stickered up Clio lol but it seems a few people like it, hopefully going for a cup racer rep type of thing :)
Matt, I've already said it but top photos mate, they really are awesome. As you can see I've...

Such a shame James but at least you've found out what the problems are hopefully. One way to look at it is at least the problems are showing themselves now rather than in a race.
Was good to meet you...
That video proves my point exactly lol! Damn it although I did get held up after you passed me :p who was driving then? I did see whoever wave and I waved back but couldnt tell haha
Yeah I can imagine they were, mine were too although I was pushing hard but like you said was very warm, especially for something as soft as the spec 2s
That's good to hear then, seems Danny did a good job with the engine too.
I think I got a couple in towards the end but there were alot of things in the way/ yielding place etc but it wasn't as bad as a couple of weeks ago, it was alot better organised than the day I was meant to do so glad...
