I found them fine in the wet, maybe I just chilled out a little more when it was wet compared to how I drive when its dry lol.
I know my current Kumho v70a's are awful if you try to make progress across standing water.
That doesn't really bother me at all haha.
But yeah he will never let that go. I bet you could offer him a silly amount of money and he would still say no.
He just seems to love holding onto things.
I ran the 180s on the road, but if I had of ran them again on the clio I was going to run 180s on the front and 120s on the back.
A mate is running 120s all round on his 360 evo 9, but hes barely used them since fitting so he hasn't really commented on them yet.
Check price of Kumho KU31 if they are still available or the KU39, usually very cheap and excellent performance for the money!
Rainsport 3s would be a good shout too. Also check Avon ZV5 and Falken 914s.
I wouldn't be going any cheaper than that really.
On the road with the 180s, I saw just over 8k. They would of lasted slightly more, I reckon 10k, but one got a puncture so I just swapped them both. That was with very hard driving on the roads.
Whats a 182 shell worth? Seems too good to scrap it, it would be ideal as a race car or to build into track car etc.
Full shell, only missing bonnet. No seats or door cards. Has dashboard but not steering wheel. Is £150 fair?
I guess it depends how you are going to drive round it?
If its just a bit of fun they'll be great but if you're going to try set fast laps something stickier would probably be more suitable.
The fuel rating is the most pointless thing ever and the noise thing is stupid too, thats external road noise from outside the car. Not inside the car anyway.
Make sure you get the XL ones though, the non XL ones are not very good and wear quite quickly on these!
Other than that look at Pirelli Pzeros, I much preferred them over the Michelins.
flol! The only reason I can think of why that was so loud was that the backbox was empty.
It was perfect for not having to talk or listen to the mrs, win win!
