According to a few online service guides it is, its to be checked and possibly topped up every 4.5k otherwise change every 9k? Even then its still only £150 all in for that plus oil and filter from a ralliart place.

Servicing isn't even too bad, oil change every 4.5k or 6 months on my mates 360. Only around £100 from a ralliart specialist if you haggle. I change the oil every 3-5k on my GSI so hardly much different apart from I don't need to worry about a stamp for resale value.

Surely it would of only been doing it on the motorway if you were hammering it above 4k and letting off the throttle? You could drive mine pretty much however you wanted and never get it to pop if you didn't want to or if you wanted to have the car taken off you by the police you just had to go...

Its probably what killed my engine.

They are great if they have been looked after properly. Have a look at my topic I put up with pics of mine. Can you find out the spec of it, what mods it has and who has mapped it. If its red, take it! Stupidly rare!

Sounds like the profile is corrupt, so its trying to load a backup/temp profile. You need to go the registry and go to "Hkey local machine/software/Microsoft/WindowsNT/CurrentVersion/ProfileList" and then find your profile on the left hand side in a list, check the State value. This should be...

For a 182?

I'm going to dig my old slips out, were a few low 14s. Car was 174.9bhp has it hadn't been mapped then, still had standard cat plus full interior. Was running ktec induction, custom 1 box catback exhaust and Pirelli Pzero nero road tyres.

Not the quickest time ever in your 182 either. But yeah it soon gets boring at 1/4 mile days. Good for a laugh for a couple of runs.
