Ill see how this VXR turbo goes, it was £420 after exchange and at the moment its cost me nothing as they have messed the order up lol!
Yeah the lad who wants it wasn't coming for it until July/August anyway but after putting another £600+ into it now there is no point letting it go.
Theres nothing else that comes close for similar money.
Yeah they run a K04 standard, but the VXR version is far superior although still not...
So turbo finally gave up at the weekend! Oil seals completely ruined, smoke everywhere!
Removed the turbo last night to find a lot of play in and out with the core and a nice crack by the wastegate!

Sorry was transfer box and AYC pump genuine supplied and fitted from Mitsubishi. Luckily his 3rd party warranty stumped up the bill for it. There's another receipt for about 5k too.

A friend has a 530d on 250k miles. He picked it up dirt cheap but the last owner spent thousands on it, genuine bmw clutch, flyhweel, dpf all from BMW. The bill for dpf alone was knocking on 2k! In his ownership all thats gone wrong so far was the thermostat and it gets a hard life.
Dropped a valve, finally give up life after 18 months of pure abuse! Of course it had to do a valve in right after having belts, dephaser ,water pump done etc lol.
Broke it for bits and scrapped the shell.
