I have a 172 phase 2 (non cup), and the exhaust started blowing, took it to a garage to have it patched, so hopefully will last a couple of weeks till I get the funds together for a stainless cat back Ktec stealth. But within a few days after the patch job, the exhaust starts blowing again...

If your not going to do track day's, then forget the cup. Nasty low rent interior.;)

Both standard up to a 100mph it will be pretty even. Gsi only faster when mapped. Mate has one and they handle like crap!

Ask the seller if they will send, and that u r willing to pay postage. But find out the cost from them before hand if they agree.

Reliabilty shouldnt be a problem as long as it's been serviced at the right intervals etc.. Boot space isn't the greatest imo. As for getting over speed bumps etc, I see no problem unless it's been slammed to the floor. Mine 172 is lowered with no issues whatsoever:D Also will be a damn sight...

I think the exhaust look fine tbh. At least it isn't one of those nasty twin pipes

One more thing...put a vid up of an acceleration run 0-100mph if possible, then people will tell you if it's running ok.:cool:

Sold my 182 and purchased a 172 phase 2 recently, pocketed the change;) To be honest the 172 feels just as quick as the 182. No differnce at all really, both standard with no mods. If you are having problems with 1.1 toyota's,:lolup: GET UR CAR CHECKED OUT!!

Doubt it would annihilate in the twisties, but the clio would annihilate on the straights.:cool: Simple as that mate!

AGREED! Also quite a bit slower than the 172 sport. If the 172 is just nippy, than the mx5 is a slug;)

By the way sold the 182 and purchased a mint phase 2 172, with cash to spare! 172 seems quicker to me anyhow;)

Im 33 and drive a 172 clio sport. Your only 25, not 50;)
