Thanks for the next test product Auto Finesse, it couldn't have come at a better time with all the road salt and these past few weeks have been horrific trying not to clean my car for this review.
1st/2nd Product - Satin & Spirit
Satin - I still have some of the sample left as I tend to only...
This fella comes in handy :)
Aswell as rolling the arches, there is a little metal bracket that need folding back as that was the main thing that scraped onto my tyres. I'm at the equivalent of ET 20 with camber.
Unsure of any other thread so I'll start this and upload some of mine. Some good, some poor quality.
That was a bit of an effort on my phone. So many that were lacking camera skills.
The rears I'll be rolling near enough flat and with camber they fit very well approx. 1.5°.
The fronts can, at a guess go another 10mm. Even more if you have a slight stretch.
Yeah, I just didn't fancy BBS reps.
Cheers, best ringing around engineering companies and alloy wheel repairers.
I've only rolled them a little at the moment, I'm after getting a roller so I can do them more. Plus I've put a disc rear beam on so that widens the track by another 20mm. It...
Hai ;)
Exactly the same approach as me.
I had it lucky knowing a friend if a friend that machined them out for £30, unsure how much otherwise so could be double or even more.
I'd try and find a engineering company with a flat bed lathe.
I currently have ET23, the fronts are fine the rears...
I think I got 5 meters of the stuff for around £15 I think. Used it to make a vanity mirror for the OH too. It's awesome for the money and doesn't look tacky. In fact looks OEM in the Clio for the glovebox light.
Once I put mine back together it was a bit limp, so I stretched the spring to give a better feedback.
Plenty of them on eBay I got a few meters as I used it for a glove box light and for my fish tank :P Can get you a light to the same stuff.
Multimeter is well and truly needed with french...
Yup as above DON'T turn the speed dial. Unless you have a keen eye for finding a minute ball bearingand spring. It's happened to me so it's easily done/fixed :).
After trying the above I approached it differently. I wired in a SMD strip, it came out ok.
There is an orange filter inside the unit which also needs removing.
Awesome, love how clean the build is. Just makes you want to strip your own car just to get it to the same cleanliness.
I momentarily owned a e36 325 they're good fun, it'll be nothing on this once finished. Much prefer the layout in the cabin of the bimmers.
Any plans for the interior? OEM...
They're what I used, he offered me a remove and refit tyres and refurb for £160, that was after I got my rear beam done. Thoroughly recommend them too.
This just gets better and better, any modification required to fit the M20?
