To be honest, 197's took a massive hit in price over the last 2 years. I doubt they will depreciate much more. Just slowly now over the next few years. Like you said Dawn you can get a decent one with option now for 5.5-6k with low miles.

Agreed VLC is the nuts. I've ripped over 500 hundred dvd's then converted them to .avi or .mkv if it's a blu-ray both with integrated DTS sound I'll post up what I use when I get home (can't remember atm as i's been a while since i last ripped one)
