Nothing wrong with normally aspirated. I think we have gotten used to turbo engines and the easy increases, so a bit of perspective has been lost. Ultimately, if you can afford it, do what makes you happy.
If you've got all the throttle body parts and it's ready to go, I would probably just go...
I love the disapproving looks you get when you drive a loud car. I think it's hilarious, partly because we probably all do it ourselves to some degree, but also because I love how uptight people get about it. They're busy judging you, while probably driving the most mundane turd of a car...
Got a bit of an issue with my 197 and wanted some advice...
I'm getting a vibration through the car under acceleration, from around 45-70mph. It seems worse if you're in a higher gear when the engine is labouring more. If you sit at a steady speed in that range, it's not nearly so severe, but...
Looks lovely that. Love them in yellow and won't be many around like that. Though a bit too nice to use, which is a shame. I'd love one of these or a Saxo VTS, but the prices are a bit rich for me.
Is it worth throwing it in there that BMW have given up and made the M135i 4WD? I think that probably says a lot about what the average person wants from their car...
Totally agreed. I've had a couple of modern turbo motors in the last few years (Golf R and Meg RS) and, while they are impressive, you can't really use them on the road, even in standard form. To feel on the limit in the Golf, you had to be really tanking it, to pretty dangerous levels. When...
Someone on RSMegane.com was messing with a Scenic/Espace with the 2.0T engine. I think the compression ratio is a bit different, so I assume different pistons or rods. Not sure if the turbo is the same or not.
I really do hate those skirt kits. You seem to see them on so many Fords now. The front is ok (if it wasn't blue), but the side looks s**t and the rear looks even shitter.
Been to the 'ring so have experienced elevation change. Don't get me wrong, it adds another dimension, but I still enjoy the flat stuff. If I'm in a car, driving it at the limit, it's all good.
I'd quite like to try Bedford. I've only done it as a passenger. It was in my mate's Puma, so...
Try driving faster 😂 I've never found driving on the limit dull, regardless of where it is.
The guy that stuffed his GTR into a 720S last time I was there probably didn't think it was dull 😂
