GSF car parts do them but they dont come with the loom, so you need to ensure the plug that goes into the sensor is in good condition. Costs around £20 If its not TDC sensor then check the engine fuse box wiring as that is prone to corrosion.

Power steering and air con are not an issue for me, my clio is not an everyday car now use my Scenic all the time. Lights and so on wont be affected, custom loom for the engine using the Emerald ECU I already have that run the throttle bodies. Loads of work to do yet, probably 40 or 50 hours...

£314.86+vat for the part from Renault. That price is the current price from Renault. Loom is £110 give or take a couple of quid +vat

wiring loom will be at fault, your dealer should have known this map sensor always shows up with a loom fault. When they change the loom make sure they clean the throttle body out as well.

wiring loom needed, £105 +vat from your local stealer. Takes about 1.5 hours to change it. Done loads of them for the very fault you mention. £210 all inclusive from me fitted.
