Thing is the 1.5 DCI is great on fuel until they f**k up and trust me they do, we change pumps and injectors at least once a month.
Pump is stupid money, Injectors are stupid money well I have found the Renault part number for an injector recall which saves most people a s**t load of money and...
Come to me Ile do it for £25 as you had a cambelt done last month will be with genuine oil filter and evo sxr oil.
Good to you aint I ;)
Oh and Danny!!!
yes 100% , loved the power of the megane but the handljng of the Trophy is so much better even with fucked shocks.
Now if Renault was to release a car with Trophy handling and Megane F1 power............
Fitted new rear shocks to my Trophy today and all I can say is WOW it shows how fucked my fronts are, rear feels great but front feels like its on jelly.
Got my fronts booked in for recon at the end of June and cant wait to see what the car is like then after its all sorted with new dampers...
they originally sent the old Clio 16v lines which are indeed as Fred says to long and wrong fixings, I have the correct ones in stock so don't worry.
I didn't get them from Ktec , I got them from one of my suppliers.
Gearbox is shot to the point that when the gear selector rod is in the neutral position the car is still in gear, only way you can move the car is with the clutch pressed down.
number the lead needs to goto is on the coil pack, and you have the number 1 cylinder in the correct place as well.
Forget the tags on the leads, if you have the leads in the wrong order they wont sit correctly, go by the number on the coil pack.
Oh and did you check the plug gaps as well.
Depends on how much you have, I find its 50/50 some people want kits others want the belt only but we insist they are changed if we find the slightest noise or play from any of the bearings.
