Was it a front end crash?
Tell them to check supplys and feeds to ecu, if no codes are stored then that would indicate the ecu is being switch off due to faulty wiring.
They should be able to plug the clip system in and carry out a recorded roadtest so when the fault happens it will be logged...

We do them for £30+vat each, sometimes we have them on offer a while back I was selling them for £23.50+vat each but had to buy a large amount to get a real good discount.

Jack up car, place on stands.
Remove both front wheels
Remove Front caliper, simply by by taking out the 13mm bolt at the top and bottom of the calipers.
Remove brake pads, be carful not to bend shims.
Undo the two 18mm bolts that hold the caliper carrier on.
Refit all parts.
Ensure all bolts...
you will need to remove everything and blank off the abs light or it will fail the mot, also I would suggest fitting a brake load proportioning valve in the system or your rears will lock up all the time.
Master cylinder wont make any difference they do the same job, its the brake load valve...
swop the wiring loom from the original engine, saves s**t loads of hastle, if not you will need an electrician a there is no way anyone will be able to sort it without looking at it.
