That first one is gorgeous on the Turini's. Valvers and Williams look brilliant with three-quarter plates, such an effective little mod. I'd love one, but given the choice I think I'd prefer a S2 106 Rallye over one.
Jeeeeeeesus, that has to be one of the most ridiculous posts i've ever read. Working in a garage? Well surely you must know your things then. If you don't get the belts sorted, I actually hope it breaks down on you. It'll be your own fault for being too tight to sort out a much needed...
Looks a similar colour to Acid Yellow on the v6 in these photos!
I hated the looks of this car when they unveiled it, but it's growing on me more and more now.
So, correct me if I'm wrong, the car does rev to the limiter at first, but deteriorates as the journey gets longer? Is that right?
If it is, I had the exact same problem last year with my Trophy. It revved all the way to the limiter for the first half an hour of driving say, but then it...
£19k! Jeeeeeeeesus! I hope you're keeping it for a good few years as I for one wouldn't want to be paying that, then getting around £10k in a years time.....
Plenty of other cars I'd have over the new 200 if I'm honest though, especially for that price. Could of had a mint v6 for £15k...
Is she a really good looking brunette, private plate on the car and wears massive sungigs all of the time!? If so, probably! ;)
Nar she's at Nottingham Uni, but she's back home once through the week and every weekends so possibly. Defo a keeper aye!
An '08' plate SLK 280 in Silver. She's 20, and it was bought by the bank account of Dad. I know it's a bit of a gay car, but I do have a soft spot for it really. :o It has AMG bits aswell, so it looks a lot better than a standard one. Automatic though so a bit dull but it's nice having the roof...
On average, about £50 a week now. I do about 25/30 miles a day going to Uni Monday to Friday. Then random blasts, so it's probably a bit more than £50 actually. :dapprove:
I did about 700 miles in the first week of owning the car though! I was never out of it, best money I've ever spent though...
Tan Hill in the Yorkshire Dales? Some brilliant roads up there, did you drive around the Hawes/Kettlewell/Grassington area too? I was up there earlier this aft, loved it!
This happened to my Trophy last summer. From my experience, it drove fine for say the first 30 minutes, revving all the way to the limiter. Then the longer you drove it, the rev limiter came down to 6k, then 5k and gradually got worse.
I took it to Renault and they diagnosed it being a fuel...
No way in a million years I'd buy a 197 Cup personally. I'd get a fully specced R27 if I was in the market for one, the Cup just doesn't do anything for me. It's just the small things like those horrid, scratchy plastic door handles, lack of xenons etc that really puts me off. Tiny things I...
A v6 is a heroes car! A Phase 2 in any colour looks absolutely brilliant. I love my Trophy to pieces but I think it'll have to go when the right v6 comes along and when the insurance companies quote me less than 3k! Being young FTL. :dapprove:
My Trophy is my first 'proper' car of my own, so have only done very minor things to it such as silver-visions, an induction kit, and a three-quarter plate. I'm considering an Orbisoud, but it doesn't need anything else as all of the Renaultsport Clio range are fantastic out of the box IMO. The...
Well as far as I was aware Cliosport was a place full of car enthusiasts who actually know these obvious facts!
Still, a very nice car though. Still not keen on the new front end of the SL, but yes a mean looking thing from behind.
