At first, the heavy clutch, but you soon get used to it.
At the minute I hate the scratchy plastics around the handbrake, the doors and that horrible looking glove compartment lid. Would love them done in Alcantara or something nicer.
That is all though, I love every other thing on my Trophy to...
You need to drive a Trophy! Everyone needs to, infact. The difference that those Sachs Dampers make are incredible, and you really do need to witness them from behind the wheel to fully appreciate them. Before I bought my Trophy I was dead set on a 182 Cup, I couldn't see the point in spending a...
Why anyone would feel the need to change the car's looks so drastically and in some cases its renowned handling abilities by throwing on massive alloys or whatever is beyond me personally, but I suppose its their car so they can do what they want!
The bloke who owns that particular Trophy is...
Some gorgeous cars in this thread, Black Gold is one of my favourite colours without a doubt! Looks soooooo good with Anthracite Turini's. Love Guppy's car too with the white 2118's
Just a few questions, how hard is it to do? Ever since I bought the Trophy the one and only thing I wish it had as standard are Xenons.
I understand its a bumper off job, but is this the only thing that is needed, then just change the clusters over?
Also, how much would I be looking at to buy a...
Had a little play with an RB 182 on the dual carriageway near Pugneys in Wakefield one night through last week, saw you booting it off the roundabout so I thought I'd follow! Overtook you and saw you having a little look when you were behind me at the traffic lights. :D
Also a lovely looking...
:dapprove: Such a horrible feeling, the noise of it when it scrapes makes you cringe.
Heard good things about Chips Away though, a mate did a similar thing in his white S2 Rallye and they sorted it for him.
Hope you get it sorted :)
I meant it would look better with the Clio Trophy/v6 spoiler, stands out slightly more you know? So I take it the original OZ alloys are going back on, what colour have you gone for?
It is depressing reading through the Clio classifieds now isn't it :dapprove:
Back in August I took out an R27 for a test drive at Renault Wakefield and they offered me £7500 for my Trophy in part-exchange. I bet if I took it again tomorrow they would only offer me £5000 now!
Brilliant time to...
I've had the Trophy about six months now and it is never dirty! Its weird, I just cannot stand it being filthy, proper OCD about it now. If I get back from Uni and the roads have been wet i'll always give it a quick wipe down before I put it in the garage for the night. I treat it like a...
There certainly is something special about driving a brilliant road at night you're right. I drive on a brilliant route around Wakefield which takes me through Walton and towards Barnsley, around the Newmillerdam area for those of you who are local. Brilliant narrow country lanes that are always...
Really enjoyed reading that! Shame about the noise restrictions though, ah well at least it didn't spoil the trip for you both.
Gorgeous cars, Ali's vee is perfect tbh and your TVR looks ace
Given the choice between the two, i'd still have the M5 every single time. Car's like the SRT8 just do nothing for me personally, no doubt its quick but its got no finesse whatsoever. All in my opinion of course before I get shot down!
Although I love Capsicum Red on my Trophy, I think it would look soooooo much better if it had been made in White. Maybe like a pearlescent white with black Trophy fonts still on the sills and with Gloss black Turini's  Oh and xenons aswell!
Racing Blue on a Ph1 172 would look ace though...
