Looks like the camshaft blank at the gearbox side.

If the timings been done with paint pen then it's most likely to be out and down on power.

Electrical fault light. Could be a number of things, mines recently was the accelerator peddle wasn't getting an earth.

Sounds good! I done similar with a cup although my engine was still running. You'll get carried away with painting and cleaning bits though lol.

Nothing special is needed mate, just regular sized bolts holding it all together. I removed mine while my engine was out so was much easier.

Yeah not worth it especially when you can bet 172's sub £1k.

Got my wheel on today, such a difference it makes from the standard ship wheel. And then got a delivery of the pms exhaust system, work of art. Dropped the car off there to get the exhaust fitted along with a few other bits im to lazy to fit so hopefully get it back soon :D

Looks cracking mate, pretty much the spec I'm going for! Where did you get the carbon blank for mounting your kill switch? Have you just stuck it down?

What spacers do you have mate? Are they bolted to the hub or are the studs long enough to just have them on? I need some but don't like the fact I bolt the wheel to the spacer for some reason lol.

Update Been away working in Holland for the past 4 weeks so not had much time on the car. Left it to get mot'd when i was away but unfortunately it wont pass until i have the epas installed, however luckily i have other ways to getting through it haha! Got the car back to my house and first...

While mine was in pieces I replaced all the suspension components and then replaced all the bushes with powerflex ones, that included the wishbones, inner and outer ARB and steering rack.

Better just buying from cm composites. Cheaper and seemingly a much better fit.

Do you mean a breakdown of the shock absorber parts or a breakdown of every suspension component?

We just used the original pipe and fittings. Bent the correct size to shape and flared the ends, also toped up the rack with fluid.

£280 a month is crazy cheap!
