Haha cheers mate, I'm on strict orders to keep this one... For a bit!
Cheers mate, what causes that with the faces not being clean? Thinking I'll just leave spacers off, not worth the hassle.
Update
Finished off a load of bits today, got the car moving for the first time in months. Still need to get the alternator bracket made up, some cable ties held up for now  Brakes are all on and suspension built back up. Really happy with the result of the brakes, look brand new.
Not...
I had the same after rebuilding my car. Took the gearbox earth strap off and cleaned the ends and body then done the same with the loom to gearbox earth and it works perfect now.
Cheers for the heads up Mark, was actually something I was thinking about when looking at them. Is it just with these ones this has been happening with? If so might look at others.
Getting that way John :disrelieved:
Made a quick list of the parts I've bought so far since owning the car. Pretty happy with whats been replaced, should see it fresh for a while. I can see how money can quickly add up with these things!

Yeah got it sorted mate reckon it was the top gearbox one after I'd painted it!
Spacers would of been good but 25mm is to much I think, the 20mm ones I've got are looking on the limit id say. Would of been perfect though having the studs as well!
Few parts arrived today, the most important being the caliper rebuild kit so i can get the brakes back on.
Ordered some DS2500's and braided lines to go with them.

I have around 500 movies on a hard drive, can i set up a file system on a pi so i can run these movies on to my tv and possibly see descriptions or covers? I keep hearing of XBMC.
Well with the car running I focused on getting it back on the ground, bit hassle with the shocks not lining up with the hubs but a jack and wood sorted that out.
The manifolds off because I had to take the exhaust manifold off to get the starter motor hear sheild on (pain in the arse).
So...
Turned the car over today for the first time... And it started !!
Happy to say the least, it's reving very high when on though so air must be getting in somewhere, still need to block the pipe on the rocker and get a oring for underneath the manifold so hopefully that solves the issue.
Cheers mate!
I'm glad I done mine now was contemplating just leaving it at the time! The whole thing is driving my ocd mad, I don't know where to stop haha.
Few more parts arrived this week, no pictures of the NGK plugs but got them fitted earlier, only need a bracket for the alternator and should 'run'.
Anyway here's what turned up:
