Mine is only for sale due to being potentially forced to move into a much smaller unit and owning 8 vehicles and a car trailer I'm never going to keep them all inside, so pretty much forced into having to sell a few things sadly.
Dave not trying to discourage your friend from buying it not one bit, but alarm bells are ringing in my head by reading your comment.
What I mean is you and him don't work on cars often and maybe not to this extent so don't know what is going to be involved?.
This is my opinion mind but...
Yeah Dave is right needs a lot of fabrication work, I was in talks of doing a deal with the guy but pulled out last minute. Lucky really given current circumstances as it seams i might have to sell my dimma (no21) due to moving to a smaller unit where I'm lickly not able to store it.
Added a...
Just seen I been tagged and had a quick look on the festival link to see dates, unfortunately I'm not going to be able to make it being so close in time and none of my current projects finished.
I'll definitely be up for it next year though, i should have 2 of my clios done by then so should...
Just came from the garage and had a quick look into what material the spoiler is and turns out it's hollow fibreglass, not bigging myself up here but i'm pretty tidy with fibreglass so i definitely be able to get the spoiler trimmed down to a reasonable size.
As for taking the whole thing off...
Thanks lads and yes the majority of the kit will be left as is now however i have come to my decision of what will be happing with it in terms of appearance.
1) Standard headlights/spot lights,
2 ( Wheels back silver
3) Rear spoiler I need to look into this a bit more and see what material...
This might be a weird question but does anyone have a max power video laying around their attic they'd like to sell, I belive this car was on the one with project thunder (vauxhall carlton), astra mk3 4x4 and a white 3dr cosworth, 306 dimma.
And from what I've been told through a friend it...
Yeah most definitely, that's one of the main reasons i want to be speak to them before any work is done even if it means taking it back to them in its current state.
I was looking on their website the other day and they offer a service to confirm it's authentic, i will be speaking to them about a few things when the time comes to work on it as it would be good to have a headed paper confirming it too. However it already has a sticker on the suspension turret...
Wow bloody look at that price on that thanks OssPooP for link

Just had a quick search on net and I know you can't use ebay as a...
Although it does look good I don't think I'll go down that route as it looks more like a maxi kit.
I was thinking something on the lines of the attachment
Yeah it runs quite rough though. headgasket gone, tappets noisy and throttle surging so a full engine overhaul will be happing.
As for body work it looks quite good under neath but until I pull the rear inner quarter panel covers off and get a probe camera down I don't know. Everything is all...
Thanks for all the comments negative and positive and everything is taken on board. As for the car to be honest I'm in two minds what to do with it, keep it standard and put it back to its original specs or the other is alter a few things such as the front lights/spoiler and rear quarter vents...
I know it's a bit like marmite and to be honest it's the only car that i always wanted as i 1st got into the car scene but back then it was pretty much impossible for me to afford one.
I wasn't actually looking for one tbh i was on fb and clicked on a white 205 dimma and below a suggestion came...
Thanks lads, yeah was towing it back yesterday and had some looks from people while parked up. Kids probably thought it was a ricer thing but a few oldish people was taking pics so mixed feelings I guest.
The car is in a sorry state to be honest headgasket gone and tappy valves along with the...
Hi all some people know me i've been on here for some time and been pre occupied lately (since 2014/5) but yesterday I bought a new car as another project to fully bring it back to its former glory.
The young kids might not know what this is but many of us in our 30's will know.
No 21 of 38.
Wow, trap doors no wonder why there more intreasted in what your plan is than the crap they sell for Motorsport use.
Yeah I'll get in touch with atl in the morning and see what they recommend, secretly hoping that it's not a ridiculously expensive part as this setup has cost me just under £1500...
Real nice looking setup you had there mate fair play, Yeah it's an-6.
Ok think i might have to go back to the drawing board and contact atl and see if they have anything else that would work as i don't want the tank pressurising up if it's not big enough to cope. Infact maybe i'd be better to...
Thanks for the input mark and a good point never thought about it going to the boot lid to be honest, ah damn that's not good i'll have to keep a eye on that breather then, not sure if it's makes any diffrence but i've seen two types of breather with a spring inside and without. Mine is without...
I've now found a company that's in the uk and seams ok for what i need.
http://www.coh-baines.co.uk/products/IRS-0263EP-%252d-EPDM-tank-strap%7B47%7Drest-rubber.html
No not competing it's a road legal track car, any idea what the technical name of the rubber is?, the only ones i can find is truck ones and the straps are 2"+ wide which is over kill and will look daft.
Hi all
I hope someone can shed some light as i need advise from people regarding the issues i have doing a custom fuel tank.
Here's the tank in question so you can see what i'm talking about.
So one of my problem i'm facing is to do with the roll over breather (under the filler neck 1st pic)...
Cheers guys,
Ok so after seeing a local alloy fabricator early December to do my fuel tank I was hoping that I'd update this sooner but only had the tank 2weeks ago, due to the lenght of time waiting and getting excited I went straight to the garage to place it in the box area.
It didn't fit...
Wow June 2013 was the last post well this is definitely overdue a update.
Sadly the car has been on the back burner for quite awhile due to unforeseen problems like losing my job and other things taking more of a priority, however i have been able to do bits and pieces here and there when funds...
Oh man that had me in stiches, haha reading that and have been in a similar position at one point is like your re living the ordeal again haha quality:smile:.
I have now found it easier getting out of powder by simply rolling onto my stomach and bend my legs to try and use the board as a load...
Cheers dude, yeah last year was by far one of the best for adrenaline filled hobbies and hope this year will be the same.
The quary is called blue lagoon (plenty of videos on YouTube) its in abereiddy down west wales the Red Bull cliff diving competition uses it from time to time, if you ever...
Haha reading your closed piste run madness reminds me of a run me and a friend done with same outcome we actually had to jump a concrete road at one point lol. That's the problem we all think it can't be that bad but soon realise we f**cked up and there's no turning back and potentially costing...
