My minds made up Celica Gt4 is the donor :).
That's also another thing that made me go with the Celica, the "flat four" in a scooby seams that its going to take loads of room width ways so less room for all the intercooler pipes and what not.
Yes i want to be different so im swaying towards the celica but that's it parts is the main thing that keeps me thinking impreza :banghead:
Although i am going to buy a hole car as a donor so thats not the problem it's mainly aftermarket upgrades.
Awesome mate!!
I'm thinking of doing the same job to my clio in a few months time, out of the full list of 4x4 Turbo cars i've narrowed the list to 2 cars a impreza sti or a celica Gt4 st205 so weighing my options between both at mo.
Good luck am keeping a close eye on what 's happing with yours.
Cheers for all your comments guys, it's not going to happen for few months (need to find a massive unit) but my minds made up, so my options are between 2 cars either a Subaru impreza sti or the celica gt4 st205.
The money i'd spend on prepping the engine for the supercharger/running gear for 400bhp will be the same or as close to fitting a awesome conversion anyway. ;)
yes i seen the car in person i sold a dimma kit to the owner (tim) he was restoring it back to its former glory.
here's the pic's i taken when i was there.
GOING TO BE EPIC!!!!
funny enough been thinking about doing a 4x4 turbo conversion myself :), cossie's are expensive so i started a thread asking people's thoughts about the engine and here i am cheers marinemackay2003 :)
Subscribed....
Good luck with the build
The GT-4 lump seams massive, as for the MR2 it's rear wheel drive and rear engine'd so not really ideal.
i already know of a renault 5 Rwd fireblade for sale :)
Hi all
Been thinking about this today but cant think :(, so has anybody seen a 4x4 turbo conversion in a clio ph2 before? if you had the choice what would you fit?.
obviously my first choice would be cosworth but a engine alone is rediculous.
cheers
Pmsl, I'd suggest if you want to get the most horses out of gray you should defo upgrade them daps lol.
Will be watching this like a hawk waiting for the big day when you announce what engine your fitting. :)
^ yes would be pretty sick running a 4x4 cossie lump :).
Won't take much work now its a bare shell Neil ;),
a few alterations to the bulk head, exhaust tunnel and custom shaft's/prop.
Ah gutting electrics ain't my thing so not sure on mine.
Balls to it i'd rather speed money on the propper stuff so should that link above for the earth cable do or what would you sugest i need as in amp's/size wise.
Cheers
After reading gray's post Was going to say, he already has the new engine. :hail:
Are you going to spill the beans as to what engine's going in guys? Or isit a surprise?
Happy days seems like a propper lads day out good work guys :).
So now the engines out are you making a table out of the engine block or making a f4r gocart lol
As for the replacment engine what are you fitting then?

Cheers guys
It will be some time before i get round to it so will ITB's with omex 600 be ok to remove the immobiliser or is there a separate brain?
If it is separate could i remove the standard immobiliser setup and fit a cat 1 toad alarm (and just use that fob to lock/unlock) to over come the...
