I'll back this up in saying I had a decat on my 182 the emissions light would always come on with the standard map on. With the 98ron map I never saw the light again.

Yeah, checked the fuse with the multi meter that's fine and its getting the voltage at the fuse. I've ordered a replacement MOSFET which is the component that burns out inside the resistor pack on the clio's, so I'll probably open it up and replace that if its the same as the Clio one. I know...

My heater fan seems to have packed up. Freezing in the car this morning lol. Will investigate tomorrow to see what the problem is, my moneys on the resistor pack but we will see.

Sounds like the correct way to me?. As said aslong as everything is torqued and tensioned properly and the horse shoe tool fits with the crank pin located in the crank it should be tikadeboo.
