Maybe the timings not right? Iirc the overrun map retards the ignition on the overrun. If the timing is all over the place maybe it's not working how it should? I don't know it's just a thought.
Did you have it done by Somone who knows the f4r engine?
Fairly. I did mine in the cold and dark but there's a bit of messing about.
You gotta remove the feed from the acoustic valve. That's what took the time. I couldn't get the pipe off the acoustic valve. Ended up taking the wheel off and doing it that way.
Lol that was on our little trip to the lake district. Mark (Dr Jekyll) decided we should record the car popping and I was completely unaware of the sheep untill he was pointing at them hence the surprised laugh.
Might wait for the weather to warm up a bit before I do the belts lol.
Haha you could say that.
Yeah that was me. Amazing how many people ask that recently. Lol.
Your seatbelts are so clean! Mine are filthy. Really need to do something about them. I've got one of them 3m headlight kits coming soon too :)
Sounds like a right ballache!. Mark you fancy coming to the surrey rolling road day on the 8th of feb? its in the south central meet section I think?. Its a bit of a trek for you but would be a good day out.
Just read through the whole thread, some really good ideas and attention to detail there.
I even ordered some of them led bulbs for the interior lights that you used lol. Car looks good and has given me some good ideas for mine. :)
I'm really tempted to go down the sportline or cooksport route. I just don't want to ruin the ride or handelling.
I'd love coilovers but it seems that a half decent set is well out of my price range.
Hi Dean,
If you buy from new, you will get all the necessary hardware to use it.
The subject has been covered so many times but heres the benefits:
Better cold starts (no spluttering or jerking in the cold anymore)
Far better throttle response IMO
Smoother power curve
More mid range torque...
I've never played any of the far cry games. Although reading through this thread it sounds quiet interesting.
I'm not a big fan of games such as halo, gears of war etc. endless amounts of killing the same enemies just bores me. But sounds like there's lots more to this game?
Haha well done. Depends what colour you ordered and what they have in stock? Don't think you'll regret it.
I ordered black which they had in stock and it was with me within two days.
I had a lot to do Saturday so it was a half hearted effort, my front wheels are covered in cv grease where my cv boots leaked, so I guess I need some gunk to get that off. And ideally need some tardis as there was a lot of stubborn tar inside the rim which I couldn't remove.
haha. Its a bit shouty yeah! lol. Its a bit much for day to day driving but its amazing when "its on song" as Dr Jekyll says lol.
Quality piece of kit. Its expensive but sounds great and is good quality.
Lol. Thats because its always ruined by the time I get round the M25 to any of the meets!. haha
I've never clayed a car before either, it didn't feel like it was doing much on most of the car. It was mainly on the low parts of the doors, and back that had all the crap stuck to it. And yes Iron...
