Hi guys, I changed my steering wheel for aftermarket and my airbag light is on which I'm not fussed about but my abs/Serv lights on and I have an iobd2 reader to read it but I'm running a gen90 ecu, it won't connect to pick up fault codes for abs. Is this because I need to connect using gen...
I'm having similar problems with my 182 cup. Sometimes when I ask the car to stop quickly I get a hard pedal. Is it the pipe or is there a t-valve somewhere?
Just read your post, if it helps, I've converted myn to k-tec jenvey bodies on 421 cams using gen 90 ecu, try and get longest trumpet possible. I managed 120mm using special brackets direct from jenvey and Efi parts managed 208bhp and 173ft lb of torque out of mine. Bloody great!
I had connection issues for the first time only a few weeks ago. It's to do with the way in which it connects in settings. I don't have my laptop to hand but I do know in settings its a stupid meaningless box that's ticked and needs to be unticked if my memory serves me right
I've just finished my itb conversion, get a vw jetta rad as it's slightly longer but still not tall. Also I used megane 225 injectors as they have better spray pattern and if you can afford them cams will make a big difference. I have 421 cams and made 208bhp and just over 173 ftlb torque
4x F-THinXX Adaptor TH inlet to SF horn 34 ex vat x4
SCS45_22.5 Spacer SF 22.5deg bend 45mm 25 ex vat x4
You will also need to modify the backing plate to fit the sf angle spacers. Just by drilling new hole and blocking old ones. I use their filter and 60mm trumpets they supply. If you ring...
I don't have a link for the adapters but I do have a pic. I must warn your they aren't cheap! Look on jenvey website, your looking for 45mm spacers with 22. 5 Deg bend and also adapter from tf-sf if my memory serves me right. Total cost is 300.
Trim the bonnet, I have the jenvey angle adapters on myn that cost 300 using 60mm trumpets which gives me a total of 120mm but I still had to trim the bonnet. Hope this helps
Hi gents,
I'm currently in the process of fitting itbs and have also purchased 421 cams. I am pretty handy with scanners but no expert, would people tackle a cam change themselves? Bear in mind I have genuine renault timing tools and the de phaser was only changed last year and has done about...
thanks tom, read your build thread and really like what you did with the hoses angling the trumpets down towards the rad a bit instead of the bonnet. I will do something similar or identical as I want to get as much torque as I can out of them.
does the 4 bar FPR go on the fuel rail instead of...

So to some it up, it is possible to run a 205 tyre but you need the right spacing or some spacing, and some rubbing will be experienced when running very low and also expected on full lock?
