"Know rust, know dents"
"Know nocks, rattles or squeaks"
Na sorry mate, don't know them. Friends of yours?
It's usually 'no' for 'know', never seen it used the other way before.
Understated is not necessarily a bad thing. I'd rather drive around unnoticed than be gawked at everywhere I go and asked stupid questions by people I don't even know.
In the 6 years I owned my 172 I can only recall two incidents where someone commented on it.
One being, "Is that the V6?" from...
I think once it's been professionally painted it'll look spot on, it seems to just stick out like a sore thumb just now which is letting it down. I'm still optimistic it'll be worth it .
Spoiler looks good mate, shame about the finish but I'm sure you'll get it sorted asap, you don't like to hang about .

It's from his girlfriend's mother, I'm guessing she just wanted to give him it and used the £1 as a token gesture.
I initially thought 172 when I first read this too, so was quite inclined to see what he had got until I read about the 14 inch wheels.
None the less, whack some pics up. I...
Top job on the xenons, they've came up a treat, as has the wheels. I'm glad you're keeping them silver they look so much better than your mates anthracite 182 ones .
Harsh but harsh for the probable reasoning that it could potentially become the new internet craze with the amount of online coverage it has received. At least this will make people think again about trying to copy it.
