I know mate and I knew you was going to say that!
The old 14" wheels are rusty and bleed rust over the tyre's when it rains.
So I bought 15" wheels with a lower profile tyre, this wouldn't look right on the van so it needed to be lowered...
Knock on affect, made perfect sense in my mind...
The van does 45 miles a day up and down the A13 from Essex to East London.
No point in an engine conversion mate, I only drive at 65mph.
I've the impreza for the fun. [emoji106]
It's not a bad old bus mate, it just gets me to work and back and a bit of mobile valeting at the weekends.
Haha, I wasn't meant to be spending any money on the van just wanted to clean it up after 7 years of neglect.
Thank God GAZ didn't give my wife the invoice for the shocks...[emoji23]
After placing the order for the GAZ i was told id have to wait 3 - 4 weeks as they are made to order. On Monday i had a call to say that they where ready for collection.
My wife went over to GAZ this afternoon and collected these.

So what kind of power are you hoping to make bud, what boost will it run?
I wanted a new turbo for mine but don't want to run a FMIC so im limted. Im going to buy a new VF34 and TD billet it, that ill do for me.
I was told that you should only run 1.5 bar on standard head studs anyway.
Type ra forum is just fine and Dean (the chap that runs it) is full of information.
No need to join SC really for us that own the special cars. [emoji41] [emoji106]
Hero!!!
Well done mate and I'm glad you bought it!!
For people who haven’t ever driven a RA it's hard to understand just how good the car's are.
I love mine and took it out for a quick blast on Saturday which put a massive smile on my face. [emoji2]
Whatever you do mate do not buy the down...
I had Hell lines on my PH1 but now have the Goodrich lines on my impreza.
The quality of the Goodrich lines is much better, the fixings are all stainless steel where as the hell lines use plastic support fixings on the impreza line's.
I will only use Goodrich from now on. [emoji106]
Yes they do mate, John fitted modified tops and a modified scraper seal.
He also had to tig weld bosses to the coilover bodies so that he could fast them. My units are Teins.
Stones throw from me then bud, I really need to start using mine a bit more for meets rather than going for a blast on my own or popping to the shops just so I get to use the thing.
Don't be silly mate, I love a classic RA I think there super.
It's what I wanted first but for not much more (so I first thought) I could have bought a new generation.
Are you local to Essex mate? If so then I'd love to meet up in the spring. [emoji2]
Really wish you the best of luck mate.
What an epic car to mess up on which pains me even more, I need to get a few bits painted on the Spec C (im sure its going to end up being a full re paint) but trying to find a bodyshop I trust is a tough one, although I do have the choice of 2 I think...
That's the one bud, I have this one too.

But I've also go this which is thicker so I use the blue one for the top of the car and the red for the lower part's.
