95% of my web use is through my iPad, it probably gets 3 or 4 hours use per day. My iPhone is virtually redundant and my PC only gets fired up if I have 1,000+ photos to edit. Aside from the occasional niggle (i.e large pics on Cliosport don't appear fully) I've not got any issues, a big deal is...
New car, new lens, I feel like a new man!
Definitely back up for some serious photography again now, been far too long. Fuji X100 is next on the shopping list, I'm stupidly excited about getting that.
Thought I would update this as nearly 3 years on my Sigma 120-300 2.8 has now gone elsewhere (to MPB Photographic, where else!), it's been replaced by this...
After the initial buzz of f2.8 at 300mm I quickly realised the 120-300 wasn't quite quick enough in the AF department for my...
Somebody request the pics (which if he was really honest he should just include in the ad pics anyway), I fail to see how it's 'genuinely minor cosmetic damage'...it was hardly a few scratches was it!
They look much, much better in the metal...but I agree that the colour doesn't quite suit it.
Lunar or Acid for me, Lunar is my all time favourite car colour.
Cheers bud, going to attack the HIDs this weekend, I presume it's pretty easy to remove them? One other question...what's the lead in the glove box for? I dropped you a PM but you're full.
I bought loads of new cleaning gear but haven't touched it yet, Nick obviously did a good job the last time he cleaned it :)
It would have been way too low for me, my work has about 6 brutal speedhumps to get into the car park. Sportlines should close the arch gap a tiny bit whilst still...
:)
Hopefully going to take it down to Exmouth for a good service at Carlton in a few weeks, bonnet seems pretty sturdy though.
Still can't quite believe I own a 172 again (sold my Cup when I bought a house to save money), just stuck my Ignis up for sale to see if there would be any interest...
I'm now the proud owner of this beauty, having sold my superb Ignis Sport yesterday. I was supposed to be buying an MX-5 or Cappuccino, but couldn't resist when I spotted this just up the road from me.
Some of the long-termers here may remember I owned a gorgeous standard Cup (S25 CUP) quite a...
That's incredible Dan, can't believe how lucky you got with the clouds parting at the end as well. The amount of cloud cover is pretty much perfect throughout.
Exposure looks spot on, must have been quite challenging with the massive variety of light conditions.
Yup, I love the creativity required of a prime and having something that capable in my pocket all the time just blows my mind. Considering how much I use my iPhone for pics when out and about as I can't be bothered to carry my D90 about I think it will be perfect. As another plus, it's bound to...
D50 = Legendary. That there are so many still going strong proves just that.
How small is 'small', out of interest? If you want to change systems the Olympus Four Thirds kit is pretty compact. If you can live without a DSLR there are some incredible compact cameras about with APS-C size...
Great to see a few Clios creeping into UK Club Racing. I've seen most series in the past 5 years and there are very few Clios...I'm guessing they are inherently uncompetitive in most series due to the relatively large capacity and high cost of extracting much more power within the regulations...
Another superb day for the Saloons yesterday, great racing. Did anyone watch the live coverage on Motors TV yesterday? We were sat in the insane wind at Quarry and it was great to have a big screen to follow the action.
After an 'iffy' start to his racing career Simon Norris is going really...
Kept an eye out for you also, got fed up of the usual elbowing at Club around 10am and moved around to the Complex area for the rest of the day. Had planned to do today but decided the crowds were not worth the effort...watched on telly instead!

I've used them in an emergency (a few days notice of an assignment in Paris) before and they were fantastic, my local post office had technical issues on the day I had to post it back and they couldn't accept anything, dropped LfH an email and they were fine with it, let me post it the next day...
A few pics from the BTCC at Thruxton yesterday. A bright hazy day which doesn't really suit my style of shooting (and lack of processing) but I got a few keepers...
Put it up for sale Tuesday, got a call Wednesday, he came around on Saturday and bought it. Thankfully he's not actually collecting it for 2 weeks, as I never expected it to go that quickly so haven't actually gone out to properly find the replacement!
Not sure if there is genuine demand, but...
I can't wait, just a little nervous that the few I have my eye on will go in the next few days. I believe there are somewhere in the region of 450 left in the UK and most are with long-term owners.
Still enjoying the Ignis Mark? I feel worse about letting my one go than I even did with S25...
Indeed, David Yu (Evo contributor, owner of Godzilla/2) ended up keeping his for nearly 4 years, loved it. Haven't read a bad word from owners or reviewers, proper little sportscar. 63hp yet still does 0-60 in just over 8 seconds.
Suzuki Cappuccino :) 0.6 litres of goodness! Just got to track down a good one over the next few weeks, otherwise I'll probably give in and buy an MX-5.
In keeping with my 100% record I've sold this to the first person who came to view it (three days after I put it on Pistonheads), only lost a couple of hundred quid from my original purchase as well. Absolutely loved every minute of owning it but with my wedding next year and no doubt kids soon...
