Nikon 12-24mm f4 (in a word: awesome) and another Sigma 50-150mm 2.8. Both second-hand, of course. Going to try and squeeze in a Sigma 30mm 1.4 before I go away as well, saving my pennies up in a fairly hardcore fashion at the moment!
I've just bought a couple of lens' for my forthcoming holiday, so gave them a little spin tonight. Love them, feels good to have some high quality glass again, uber sharp...
Interesting, will have a look around for that. When Revels mentioned the iPhone I did wonder if some sort of tech exists to tie them together.
Will have to work out what's cheaper, as hopefully buying a second-hand GP-1 then selling it after might be a near cost-free option.
Anyone have experience of these? Got a few quid in my Paypal so was considering the official GP-1 add on for my D90. As we're covering several thousand miles this Summer I thought it would be cool to have a map with every photo, presumably it will automatically geotag on Flickr as well...
Gorgeous car, love the colour as well. Presumably not a particularly common colour choice, which is a good thing imo.
99.9% of us haven't driven one, saw always amusing reading the comments. Evo rate it extremely highly, so that's good enough for me as they get to drive pretty much everything...
Great cars, considering one when I get bored of my Ignis Sport (which may be quite some time yet)
Chap at work has one, the first time I followed him in I was amazed at how much better it looks in the metal than it does in pics, rear end styling in particular is top notch.
Re: 3G ios 4 update, WTF?
I'm living it old school with a 3G, things are getting progressively slower week by week since updating to 4, the lag when just doing simple things such as opening Safari or typing text is pretty ridiculous. Only got about 8GB of data on it and have recently restored...
Re: iPhone "must have" apps
Flick Kick is superb, I'm in the 60s somewhere as well, cracking game.
Not sure if it's been mentioned, but CoPilot Live USA is only £2.99 at the moment, which is insane. I use the UK one and can't really fault it, has been excellent. As we're going to the US this...
Yup, some of the problems I've had in the past have been really odd human errors, strange given how many orders they must get.
It's a good job they are generally excellent with replacements, as I would say historically 1 in 3 of my orders have had some kind of fault (incorrectly printed...
Update from the PH thread...
I can confirm the following, as I've just spoken to the driver (who's a good mate of mine - none of this mate-of-a-mate stuff here)...
He (just to confirm: male, brown hair) blacked out. He remembers commenting to his two passengers on how hot it was, and the last...
You can specify if you want a white border, but iirc not the other way around. The weird thing is the inconsistency, ordering the exact same image 4 weeks apart and receiving two very different finishes to them (the positioning on the latest one is very different to the original)
The other...
We got two more with this latest offer (the huge ones again), this time they came with white borders instead of the image fully wrapped though, not too thrilled about that as we didn't specify it.
Anyhow, was hoping they would collect via courier, but we have to return them through the post...
Re: iPhone "must have" apps
I've put it all in calendar, wanted something a bit more structured though. Funny thing is there are quite a few apps that come close, and in the reviews loads of people are asking for/suggesting exactly what I need...I think I've finally found something there isn't...
