Hmmm, this is all sounding rather expensive when you add it all up. I'm thinking I may as well see what I can get for the car now (with a completely honest write up) whilst somebody can still drive it away.
My current Ph1 is my 4th Clio, I've put well over 100k miles in to them over the years and never had a single issue or breakdown (remarkably). I bought it fairly cheap just over a year ago (£1300) and have had a year of trouble free motoring in what was/is a fantastically well maintained car...
Photoshop Elements and Snapseed Desktop is a nice combo, Elements is great for dust removal and more in-depth work etc, whilst Snapseed is ridiculously easy to use if you want to play around with colour/style etc but find PSE a bit too much like hard work for that side of things.
New Star Soccer is comfortably the best game I've played on my iPad, I'm sure it must have been mentioned here but it's worth highlighting again if so (it's a long running PC game)
Appallingly addictive and very well put together. Whilst you have EA etc shoehorning console football onto tablets...
Driving home from work yesterday, Inferno 182 followed me (Black Ph1) from the Platinum Renault roundabout to Westbury. Black and/or very dirty wheels. Not seen an Inferno around here for a few years (since Matt off of here owned one).
iirc HT05 CAX was a long-termed with Autocar and has been referred to as being 002 plenty of times, I think it's fair to say if it was a 'fake' the real owner of 002 would have noticed by now.
I used to do it separately but now just do it through my house insurance, £2.5k worth of photography equipment cover (I change my kit a lot but it rarely strays over £2.5k any more) which sorts me out home or abroad, I think it cost somewhere in the region of £12 for a year on top of our usual...
I was disappointed with the angles available compared to my last visit (4 or 5 years ago), pretty much only the inside of Druids unfenced (and even half of that now has catch fencing), but I guess with a longer focal length there are a few more spots where you can shoot over/through fences quite...
We've never been longer than 5 nights and have managed to squeeze everything we wanted to do in (including a day off to somewhere different most times, i.e. Coney Island or New Jersey), and we do 99% on foot. Out the hotel door at 7am and then flat out until about 10pm...only problem is you need...
I was there at the time, all of a sudden the Civic appeared out of the corner of my eye and then crunch. I couldn't work out why he was carrying so much speed, my only thought at the time was all the oil from the previous race, but most of it was gone by then. Unlucky for the Integra...but it...
Jay and Tony kindly accepted my offer to join the team for the day in the absence of Mr Freeman, so up I got at 5am yesterday for the trek to Brands. On arrival the Burpspeed Hospitality Suite was all ready in full swing, so fuelled by a bacon roll I got to work...
Off to...

Of course, the originals are here that you can download if you like...http://chrisharrison.smugmug.com/Motorsport/CSCC-Brands-Hatch-070512
Great shots Nick and good to catch up with you yesterday. I'm a sucker for a perfect pan so #5 ticks all the boxes.
Impressed you nailed a few crash shots, I guess you suffer from the same problem as me of always being on completely inappropriate settings to nail a sharp crash.
Great shots Paul, looks like you had some fantastic weather.
I love the Ellis Island entrance shot, almost looks like one of those artist impressions as it's perfectly composed with the towers lined up with the glass roof.
Fantastic result, thanks for letting me a part of it all, had a superb (if very long!) day. The race was well worth waiting for and great to watch. Just churning through the photos now.
Loving the Ultra Red, shot one 5 years ago, couldn't believe how vivid it was compared to a Trophy (or most other red cars)

I'd miss S25 more if I didn't now own another 172. Really chuffed to hear it's still going strong, I spent quite a bit on it even when it was on 10k miles etc, those mats cost a fortune! Was the pack with the brochures etc still with it?
Thanks for the offer but it will be easier if I just park with the general rabble, I'm only down the road from the circuit so driving somewhere else to collect a pass is a bit of a pain.
Moved things around and I'm now able to attend, so will be on photography duties for the day as always. Any particular session times for me to look out for?
