I didn't care when I ordered, this (well, the new version when it's released soon) will be protecting my iPad, as it did with my iPad 1.

Compared to an iPhone I think it is. The thing is basically on fire if I ever boot up a Kairosoft game (then 30 minutes later the battery dies), it's nowhere near as intuitive as an iOS device, and as I mentioned on a more general note the Marketplace is a minefield. Great if you love the...
The funny thing is, the usual arguments against Apple products don't actually work that well with the iPad. For what you get it's still pretty darn good value against the competition. No other manufacturer has waved a magic wand and produced something comfortably as good (and comparable) at a...
I work my little iPad hard, DJing practice at home (so lots of music on it), as a photo back up when I'm away (so always like to have at least 10GB free at any time) and general photo editing, so frequently loading 4GB cards on and off. I was always a bit too close too the limit with the 32GB...
They're having a pretty big pre-owned clear out at the moment, some pretty good deals in store (most of the good stuff is sold out online), e.g....
Assassins Creed II: £3.98
Fallout: New Vegas: £4.98
F1 2010: £3.98
Forza 3: £1.98
FIFA 11: £0.98
Mass Effect 2: £5.98
Bored now, going out to take photos. Bit silly me trying to get one anyway, I can't get next Friday off work so it will only have spent the weekend in a courier depot somewhere. May as well wait to Currys etc have them.
Cloud, innit.
In all seriousness, I imagine the floods etc might have put the brakes on any major storage upgrades, considering the amount of units they need to put out. That and looking at eBay etc, the 64GB was nowhere near as popular as the others.
Re: iPad 3 - March 7th.
Selling my iPad 1 for £230 a few weeks ago is looking like a bit of a result now, if only Renault could manage that sort of depreciation...
Getting a bit painful now, Capcom are the latest that GAME haven't managed to arrange any sort of deal with...

Lots of reports today that it's very much the beginning of the end, probably wise to spend vouchers/loyalty points asap (not that many stores have much in the way of new stock at the moment) as they are very unlikely to honour them if things do change soon.
Any advice on manually setting WB temperature to try and suppress the orange street-light glow for the JPEG shots from the outset? I've done a bit of Googling to try and find a temperature to start with but didn't have much luck.
I'm sure STILL having duplicate stores (sometimes within a minutes walk of each other) in parts of the country doesn't help, and that's even when taking Gamestation out of the equation. It's been, what, 12 years since the EB buyout? Yet they still haven't sorted that out.
It was also several...
Me too, I've just started using it now I have the 5D so loaded a few night pics into Lightroom, just being able to change WB blew my mind a little bit, I felt like such a cheat!
One common thing I've noticed when people comment on WB is that when they say it's 'wrong' they often actually mean...
Plenty around at that price or less, I made sure I got a good one so paid £600 for it. Only problem is there are no short-cuts with lens (obviously with it being FF), it demands cash to be thrown at it.
Keep looking into this, then I think about the amount of Photoshop work that surely must be required...I hate photo editing at the best of times. I'm presuming one shot is actually an awful lot of work to process?
Things were bad, now they're really bad, especially as they apparently aren't giving people their fivers back if they pre-ordered, just store credit...

Presumably Nokia have some fairly watertight patenting going on. Sigma have a "46mp" sensor that's actually a 15mp sensor with 3 depths to it each capturing different light (red, green and blue), which therefore doesn't need an AA filter so can capture more detail.
Holy...

Proper game changing technology, if those samples are genuine (I have no reason to believe they aren't). If it turns out as well as it could they could probably make more money licensing the technology to Panasonic for...
Sold my iPad (1) last night in anticipation of this, even slightly tempted to be one of those Apple geeks that queues (although not for too long) on release day, mainly because the next month or whatever is going to be one hell of a struggle without an iPad!
I'm not knocking Lego pics (I take plenty myself!), it's just that so many people chase 'popularity' on Flickr but it doesn't actually mean anything. I have very average photos with 15,000 views, yet also have ones that have won national competitions which have barely registered any interest on...
