One thing I have noticed after being on there for 24hrs...compared to Flickr (which you can easily manipulate if you want high views/comments etc), good photos generate more interest.
Stick a half decent photo involving Lego on Flickr and it will generate a lot of traffic, but get a...
All those hours the engineers crunched numbers, took it around the world testing it, finding the optimum suspension settings etc...and then somebody does this!
Full retail price might work a bit better if they offered something a bit extra. Specialist stores exist because the knowledge and buying experience can't be replicated in a supermarket or online. In GAMEs case it's actually worse than buying in a supermarket...the games aren't sealed, they try...
I checked a price on their website over Christmas, went to the Bath store and it was £10 more. If Currys and Jessops can offer a reserve and collect service I don't understand how GAME have never managed to even remotely tie their website and stores together...despite stating they would do quite...
It's not looking pretty right now...
GAME not stocking Ubisoft Vita launch games
GAME cancels Last Story pre-orders at the last minute...and the Special Edition
Game not stocking Tekken 3DS
GAME to close 35 stores, and they shut Gameplay website
Basically they have no credit insurance, so...
Still can't get my head around having Canon boxes around the house, just doesn't feel right! This arrived today, can't wait for the weekend to give it a bit of a workout...

Mmmm, 135mm f2, I had to force myself not to order one, I tend to use 200mm quite a lot when travelling so went with the 200mm 2.8 instead, still a beauty of a lens apparently so can't wait to use it (maybe even a cheeky bit of motorsport as I fancy the Festival of Speed this year).
£490 for...
Had a nosey at the 24-70 today, far too big for me personally. I think the 24-105 will win, it seems perfect for travelling and we have a big honeymoon coming up so I need to sort something soon.
And yes, flash is on the list. I have absolutely no idea about them though (never used one), so I...
It's a I, second-hand at that, cost me £600. I wanted to free up as much money as possible for lens. Even though I'm not a big fan of the handling (seriously, who decided some of those button placements were a good idea?!), I went with my head rather than my heart, as Canon lens are in...
As I'm getting married in a few weeks and probably starting a family soon after I figured it was now or never (I can only assume I'm going to be very poor once kids arrive!), so I bought a 5D. It arrived yesterday but unfortunately my other purchase, a Canon 200mm 2.8 L II is sat in a Parcel...
Phase 1 for sure, some nice examples come up at your budget. Mine cost £1300, the paintwork is in better condition than when I bought an 18 month old 172 Cup! I personally prefer the look of the Ph1, and the interior is a much nicer place to be than the 172 Cup.
Nothing so far, after several photos I had over 100 hits in total, far too many to chase. My main concern was looking for sites making money off of them (i.e. as prints), thankfully none so far. Wallpaper sites I can live with (and people using them as forum avatars, quite flattering really!)...

Probably the most eye-opening site I've ever used, thought it may be of interest to some people...

Basically, upload or link to one of your images and it will scan the web for usage of it. The first one I tried of mine came back with 64 hits (all of which were genuinely...
I picked up the 14mm f2.5 for £100 on the MU43 forum (they quite often come up for sale pretty cheap), and just use that and the 45mm 1.8 for 99% of my photos. I shot New York with those two (forgot to pack the 20mm 1.7, but I didn't miss it, infact you may find one for sale on here later this...
Sorry typo there, it's on the shopping list but not pre-ordered anywhere yet.
Most interesting feature of the OM-D for me is the Live Bulb/Live Time thing, it gives you a preview of how your long exposure is doing (up to 25 times in one long exposure) at intervals you choose (starting from...
Pre-ordered :)
Weather sealed (ish), magnesium alloy, official grip, the possibility of decent tracking AF....sold. Going to be an expensive year as the Panasonic 35-100 2.8 is also on order (and the new 75mm 1.8 looks tempting!)
Noticed a post on here a few days back mentioning Smeatharpe, so I decided to have a dig around and have a look through some of my old photos. Several hours and many good memories later I figured it would be nice to throw a few up here. The oldest pics are 7 years old, the last one I attended...
Love it, I would hazard a guess that this has given Nissan, the Juke and the GTR more exposure per pound than signing up a factory team in some national race series.
Things like the Clio V6 will never happen again, so it's nice to see one-offs like this still cropping up occasionally.
Heading home from work in Lacock yesterday around 4:45 and followed a Silver Extreme with a ClioSport sticker in the back, the over-riding feature being the alloys (very wide and small with stretched tyres, no idea what they were as I'm too old to understand that scene :) )
