So yeah. Still got this thing. Spent a few quid on it, and about to do the clutch and that at the weekend. Then who knows, it maybe being swapped for my black Ph1 again. Miss that car.

Spend the time and effort on searching for bargain parts tbh. 5kgs isn't going to make much difference.. Finding cheap coil overs, tyres etc is. ;)
Yep, GTi-6 / Rallye front pads are the same as a Clio 1*2 front.
Rear calipers and pads from a 1*2 are the same as a 106 GTi, Saxo VTS. Can't remember about a 306 or not - will check mine tonight and have a look.

Yeah, doors are a bit of a fiddly one- mainly because of the weight of them.
It's as simple as it looks really - you just need the right hammer and punch to fit and the pin just taps out. From there, get someone to be holding the weight of the door- make sure they hold it level. Fitting -...
