Happened at the beginning of the year but my mate has only just edited the footage :rasp: It was ultra slippery in the morning.
@ 4:10 understeering at clarks curve resulting in little slides when lifting off.
@ 4:35 an unnerving slide around paddock hill
@ 5:10 off at surtees
@ 9:40...
Could have been me (although 04 plate), when abouts? I remember waving to someone a few days ago, but couldn't tell you where it was, or what colour the other clio was :rasp:
I'm often over that way though, but mostly in the MX5 nowadays as the clio is just for sunday hoons and tracks!
I've had 438's for just under a year now, decided to get then when my cambelt needed replacing. I would agree with most of what scaryopa said, the engine now pulls hard all the way to 7.5k where as before it used to struggle above 6.5k. I wouldn't say i noticed a "big difference" however...
Anybody have any clue how this exhaust sounds the way it does? It's different to every other 182 exhaust sound i've heard, almost like the sound is coming from inside the exhaust rather than out of the pipes if that makes any sense? :rasp:

The rear is a little lively in the wet and you have to be pretty careful with coming off the throttle (at all), but in the dry you can properly throw the car in (when messing around) and the rear only gives a tiny little flick out and helps pull the car round. It's on the long fast corners...
Don't worry about sounding patronising, i'll be the first to admit i know very little about car setup, its mostly trial and error for myself :) If im right, the rear has 1 degree standard and i have 2degree shims in. I have camber bolts in the front, but according to my last geo its only 1.2...
Guys i'm running 3 degrees on the rear and 1.2 degrees on the front (max i could get with standard) and while i am extremely happy with initial turn in and mid corner, im having great trouble coming off the apex/out of corners. It turns in very well with a lovely bit of oversteer, just enough...
