Thanks for the photo, that helps a lot and confirms what i was remembering in my head!
Reason for asking, I'm just about to purchase some of these and wanted to check how much metal was behind the bumper on the side. I remembered it was quite a small area, but is plenty large enough for what i...
Ah apologies, nick did actually say it was the 172, but i convinced myself he must of been mistaken because it looked like the BMW in the video, i hadn't seen the DN facebook post!
Put it in 1080p full screen

My mate driving the RRR SR2 was following a BMW M3 when the rear suspension collapses on the beamer. The rear spring falls out, bounces off the armco, swings across the track and rebounds off the steering wheel missing his head by inches...
My car use to make the perfect amount of burbles, pops and bangs with the standard engine and a straight through pipe + rs192 backbox, awesome natural sound.
Turn volume up and enjoy!

Now after almost a year of having 438's fitted with a "pop&bang map" its starting to do my head...
It's certainly not worth £9.99, but i wiped out my local tesco recently, went in again and its back up to £6.99, apparently the promotion is over (and the product has been discontinued?).
I normally spray it on, leave for 3 minutes, give all the wheels a quick going over with a large soft...
I assume that's not taking into consideration the electric window motors? Also surprised the front windows are only 3.5kg, seemed a lot more when i swapped mine over to poly!
While i am getting on with the PMS kit now, when i had it fitted without a cage, rear strut & rear ARB it induced quite a considerable amount of understeer. Its an excellently made piece of kit and now i've sorted out the rear of the car i'm loving it. The turn in you get with the kit is awesome!
My car would of failed its last MOT if it weren't for the station phoning VOSA and getting the car passed on the basis that "extensive safety modifications have been made, to make the car suitable for motorsport". My harnesses were also not E marked (aircraft buckle), but were passed on the...
Gone through many, many sets of 595RSR and all have cracked across the width of the tyre, never had a problem with them though. Most have been worn down below the markers too. I had a problem with scrubbing the wall on hard cornering too. After my most recent track day, 3 degrees neg camber...
I've had plastidip on my car for almost 2 years and its been through every weather imaginable. It's been powerwashed (with an industrial size one) probably 100 times, and had all sorts of cleaning products used on it. I've never touched it up and is only in the last 2 months starting to show...
Indeed, i was really only after 3 on the front. What bolts are you guys using, i presume eibach? I was unaware they offer up to 4 degrees, im currently using the "camber bolts" that are supplied with my coilovers but they have only allowed me to get 1.5 degrees. I'm also running the pure...
Sorry Tony i must be having a blonde moment, AST top mounts say they can only offer a further 1.4 degrees of camber, and standard mounts with camber bolts is 1.5degrees, (i think) so just under 3 degrees total. What am i not getting? :o
Chris you will love the RC6, they are bloody incredible pads and are a nice step up from RC5+ if you have used them. Be prepared for some epic squeeling though :rasp:
Are you running spacers on the rear wheels, as i've just put on some hub spacers with 2 degrees camber, this will fix your...
Started on my mk2 door cards today, only managed to get one done, but the other side will be 20 times faster as i now have a template. ( left side in the photos is mk1 door card :p ) They are proper ghetto, but cost me £6.99 each side iirc.
Not sure i entirely understand what you...
"The old front-drive intransigence is gone; on cold tyres, a cold surface and with the ESP switched off, abrupt lift will require opposite lock."
So pretty much like any car in existence?
Turbines are for queers, black ones above are substandard.
If i had the cash spare i wouldn't hesitate on ordering some ultraleggeras. They make me do sex wee.
