Bobby i plan on doing a track day at goodwood this year actually, and it will be my first time there. Usually they are run in session's and very expensive but it seems goodwood are being a bit more sensible this year and a few track day companies are running OPL days for pretty good prices...

Yeah as far as i can see the a048 are £140ish each, and r888 £110 each. Theres probably better deals out there but i can't find them after a quick search

Thats a cracking deal, puts into perspective how good value these tyres are with almost no disadvantage to performance. A048 are what, £550 a set, and R888 around £450.

BMTR are very cheap for the federal. The motorsport section of the website is under going maintenance at the moment, but if you phone 01213 311122 they can transfer you over. I just got 4 x 195/50/15 595RSR for just over £300 delivered.

I found the R1R to be on par with michelin ps2 in the wet, and a fair bit more performance in the dry. The side walls are stiffer so give you much more confidence and feel in the corners, but don't fool yourself into thinking they are track tyres. I destroyed 2 fronts on one warm track day...

Lovely seats, but i have decided to get seats with head supports, hence sale. They are pretty faded, but not worn etc. £250 for both to a CS member (Bare in mind these are over £1000 new being GT width)...

Was wondering if anybody that runs a filter setup between the headlight and battery was having problems with the headlight and condensation? It could be a complete coincidence, but my headlight was fine before moving the filter, and on reflection have just realised that it only got condensation...

I assume people are using 197 cams because they are cheap? What sort of results would you expect to see with a car with 438's and a RS2? I'm currently sitting at 190bhp/162lb ft peak (150lb ft throughout range), and the £900 for cams already made me a little weak at the knees, i think after...

I have 438's in mine, 190bhp & 162lb ft peak, from 3500 to 6500 its above 150lb ft. Granted from 6500 to 7500 it drops like a stone to about 125lb ft and from 2500 to 3500 its around 135lb ft. (those figures are from memory because i can't find the graph, will see if i can get another copy of...

I didn't know if the wiring was different ect. So its a simple case of bolt the standard headlights in, putting plug(s) in and taking it to a mot/garage to get aligned?

No good putting stiff springs on the ktec coilovers, its the damping thats soft. I know, i have them!
