I was on the A27 to brighton at 6:30 last night so it couldn't have been me :D
I have seen an identical car to mine driving around these areas though (i believe it even has anthracite 2118's too)
Use as little of the attachments as possible, the more you use the more it will vibrate! Also make sure the casing clip is secure, this is the thing that is rattling most of the time. I also do the screw handles up with a screw driver, not by hand.
James, that looks fricking awesome.
I'm happy with the side profile of the car, but every time i see it straight on, having the wheels tucked into the arches makes me sad :(
Exhaust is a RS192 with the cat and silencer removed. Used the suction cup mount and mounted it just above and between the exhausts on the bumper :)
I don't recall going over 60, must be the wide angle that makes it looks faster
Went out for a little play with my new gopro to find some good angles to use when on track. While i was out, i got a short video of my exhaust. The pops & bangs are natural when the exhaust gets hot, no mapping here.
Stick it in HD for better quality sound, and turn it up! Need to have a...
Just wondering if anybody has successfully found a trumpet (air ram feed) to fit inside the oval PH2 fog light surrounds, if so, what shape/size did you use?
Switches came today, so I got really impatient and put some 3m on the cardboard template, i really need to get some ali sheet :D Its gonna look good when its fixed in :)
Got it off ebay for £1 (1400mm x 200mm) ! Super easy to fit too :)
Got some of the parts through today for the switch panel...plan for now is to mount the switches on some ali plate, but eventually the dash will be flocked and bits replaced with real carbon.
A little mock up to check things fit, the back of the isolator JUST fits in between the gap, its...
Anybody got any photos of this combo? Interested in widening the track for better weight transfer, not to mention bringing the wheels out of the arches!
I should of bought those first time round, but wanted to give this a go as the mounts only cost about £6. As soon as i'm fed up with these, i'm going to order the prime racing ones :)
Little update..
So the reason for the sunstrip...Roof liner and all the other little bits are out, as...
I've got a decatted RS192 with the silencers removed (straight through) sounds just like the BG 182 in the video, but it naturally pops & bangs on overrun. Its very subtle compared to the completely laughable remapped example!
The exhaust poly bushes have plenty of give. After around 1k miles they have started to work them selves free. Cable ties aren't doing the job it seems, will need to brain storm an idea to keep them firmly in place. Fitted a couple things :)
Dog bone was a b**ch to fit!
Update time, and some shameful copy and pasting from a different forum...Got a bit done today...Went to BBQ and collected a few bits, hacksaw, stanley, cloths, white spirit, gloves and scrapper!First job was to replace the f**king s**te renault exhaust mounts. I got some powerflex universal...
Did have a forum search, but not much info on where to get this, only one lucky sod got them from fred@BTM :rasp:
Mainly need the dash one, any ideas?
Cheers :)
Just picked up one of these, as well as a full polybush set for the front, hopefully the rear ARB will get rid of the little bit of understeer my puremotorsport kit induced!
