Well thanks for the replies I think I will make sure the AUX has definately been done then and maybe not be so strict on cambelt as it seems to vary quite alot from 3 to 5 years, best of just finding one with fresh belts all round tbh! Thanks

Hi all Im due to be getting my 182 as soon as I find one I like, but despite a lot of searching, both this forum and Google I am still getting very mixed results regarding cambelt and aux belt intervals, what I seem to get on average is AUX at every 36k miles or 4 years, and cambelt at 72k or 4...

haha I agree about Astra, mistake on my behalf there! I was looking at a Pioneer HU so thanks for that, just as long as I know the option IS out there to eventually hook it all up, I test drove an ST after a 182 and really didnt feel like the ST was a "hot hatch" at all, felt just like my Astra...
