Declared tinted windows and coilovers on my policy, an extra £121. Not bad since I'm 17!

I just jumped into the wiring of the normal interior light, and ran it through the headline, under the trims into the back. The lights sit in the trim, above the rear quarter windows.

I wonder what legend sold you that ? ;) Nah the Sportex isn't too loud, do really miss the sound of it tbh. Did get wearisome on the motorway journeys but was fine everywhere else!

Couldn't resist a quick snap after dropping the Mrs off in Southsea at 8 this morning.

Just a chap off Facebook through the Renault UK group, you know how it is. He's no idea and doesn't have the nut lying around so is next to no use.

Got my coilovers today, obviously was anxious to fit them so jumped right in. Problem I've run into is the rear shocks have a different thread on them to the standard shocks, so the old top nuts don't fit. Only one of the new shocks came with a nut, so I need another. I've managed to deduce that...

Right. Gone to fit my ta technix coilies. The rear shocks have for some reason a bigger diameter on the thread. So they don't fit through the top mount. Am I doing something stupidly wrong??

Would I be stealing someone's idea? ;)

Reaaaallllyy trying to stop myself from getting my new rims already. Someone talk me out of it. Decided on the EX8's. £305 for a set minus tyres is quite good I think! :P Pretty sure the last one is someone on here. But what colour do I go for?!

Just a quick thing really, who's running ta technix (or any brand for that matter) on their non sport, without the rear adjusters? Just bought a set and wanted to know how well it will sit on the rear, and if i'll need to get lower springs. Cheers

Well we're both off college so that should work fine! Just one thing to bear in mind, I bought a very cheap set of discs and pads on eBay for something like £25 delivered (2 x discs 4 x pads). And they seemed absolutely fine to me, my only gripe is it's now been about 3 months and they still...

Just really echoing the above, my car came with HIDs in the reflector housing (I know, I haven't gotten round to changing it yet!). Passed MOT fine in February, think it depends on the mood of the tester.

Boot light is a 38/39mm festoon bulb FYI, not a 501.

I was gonna use that but didn't want to commit forever haha. Tape seems to be holding for now. Thanks mate. Interior was a breeze. Rear seats were the trickiest but not difficult. Take the bottom of the bench out by just pulling it up. Remove the isofix cover in the boot, remove the bar. Fold...

Literally went to Hobby Craft and bought some double sided tape. As simple as that.
