The only mod I can't be bothered to deal with removing are the tints, and that on it's own was their smallest fee. Something like £20. So I'll probably leave that on, remove everything else, and declare the tints.
Christ this is depressing, all this time spent doing things only for it to have...
Right, age old discussion yada yada yada.
Phoned insurance to ask about mods. Asked for a quote on tinted windows, sportex exhaust, wheel colour change, 172 bumper and coilovers.
Bearing in mind my premium was £2257 in October last year, they wanted an additional...
£6254.
After much...
Just a quick update on the wheel painting. Got a good couple of coats down and it's looking pretty good, just need to go to Halfrauds and grab some lacquer. But of course being 17, I'm not old enough to do that on my own. Talk about fecking patronizing.. anyway.
Ah I spent a good 20 minutes underneath trying to shift it over, was having none of it haha. Used a jack to support it in place but the second I removed it, it obviously just sagged..
Only gloss black! First time properly spraying something and although it's boring and common, black took my fancy!
Genuinely heartbroken about the cutout haha, almost to the extent of being embarrassed to park it anywhere facing outwards...
Tax and insurance isn't until October thankfully! Shame I can't service the car myself since it's got full history, would be stupid to throw that away!
I'll probably just take it somewhere and say, look, problem, see? Fix. Only just stopped the exhaust sagging so I'm about fed up with it! Haha.
Next thing to sort are the front brakes, then it's MOT time -.-
Thanks dude! :) things don't happen as quickly as I'd like, but that's the joys of being a student!
Yeah was a real case of, I want it now, let's go haha. Was only about £20 in fuel tbh, she's quite good!
Fitted it this morning, went perfectly except the exhaust cut out is slightly off...
Really not keen on the plates dude, clean standard fonts with a 3/4 front would set it off nicely imo. Plus those lights just don't look right.. other than that looking good :)
So it's perfectly plausible that it just has a ph2 bumper because that's what the factory found lying around? Rather that than wondering if it's had a slight knock to the front! :boring:
Out of pure curiosity, which do I have? I have the PH3 digi dials, it's on a 2006 plate, but doesn't have a PH3 front bumper..
Mine:
PH3:
Has someone just swapped the front bumper, or did they come with my bumper from the factory?
