No they are aftermarket jobbies which came with the car, one day when im bored i'll swap the originals back on and see how they look.
Headed out with Expired this afternoon up to the airport after a few changes to his 1.2. The pictures dont really do it justice.
Also nearly got nicked for apparently being terrorists. Must have been a slow day for the police.
Cheers
Tom
I see it so often at work.
"No I wont spend £3 on that wiring adaptor, instead i'll spend f**king ages cutting everything to shreds, twist all the bare wires together then lash everything in leccy tape!"
Followed by:

Just gone through all 20 pages.
Completely fantastic and amazing work.
Looks properly lively as already mentioned, i'm sure you'll have it nailed back together in a matter of days!
A wrong 'un apparently.
A potential buyer from the z3mcoupe forums went to look at it based on the impressive ad describing it as near mint.
He came back unhappy at a wasted day off and a fair amount spent in fuel.

Cheap for a reason I guess, although at that price you could give...
With temperatures climbing above 0° for the first time in a while, I decided to give the M its first proper blat out up in the dales today. Came home with a huge smile on my face and the need for more noise!
I stopped off half way through to grab a few shots with my new camera which im mighty...
Bought myself a Sony NEX-C3 today. My first 'proper' camera. Really chuffed with it so far. Looking forward to learnign how to use it properly.
Bit of a mess around produced this of Trev:
Old man bought the first XR3i in Yorkshire back when it was new:
Had a fair few cars inbetween, but this was our family bus which i still think is cool in an odd way. Still have this in the garage.
Current car he is in the process of selling. Had performance manifolds fitted at some point...
I suppose thats half the joy, that you can buy a car and run it all for 50p a mile is lunacy but it means you can treat it like dirt and not feel bad.
Once had a slightly newer matiz as a rental a few years back - joining the a1 from a service station we were dangerously slow coming onto the...
Made a little bit of progress with the M recently, swapped out the nackered old throttle cable for a nice new one which has livened things up a fair bit!
Also decided on removing the chrome door handle covers.
Gave the bus a good clean over yesterday using some meguiars ultimate wash & wax and...
Pretty sure they werent multicoloured, but then again it was a bit dirty so could have been hiding behind muck,
From what i saw they were rather dishy! poking out the arches like a pro.
Superb looking Mk3 absolutely slammed into the ground on some tasty looking wheels.
I slghtly pushed past you like a bell end in a red Z3M Coupe, sorry about that, was running mega late.
Recognised it as a members car from here a while ago but not been active for a while now to remember whos...
Cheers Dave, roof down lovelyness would be nice, but as you say unfortunately im not a fan of putting my penis inside other men.
Undecided on the handles myself, they arent nearly as 'obvious' in person but i think come summer i will colour code them and the rear spoiler.
In terms of future...
Big thank you to Sir_Dave, on his advice i checked my throttle cable to find it was only opening 90% at WOT. A new cable should be with me by Thursday.
Still loving the M to bits. Getting 22mpg which im pleasantly chuffed with considering the temperature and 30mph commute use.
Gave the it...
Fitted a simota carbon intake kit yesterday as i've decided the M is just too quiet in standard trim.
Very rough quick vid. Pics to follow.

P*ss awful phone picture from a quick wash down following a gearbox and engine oil change.
Personally undecided on the headlamps, going to live with it for a few months and see how i feel about swapping them.
Well finally picked this up a couple of days ago.
Its superb.
First impressions are slim due to working every day since having it, but primarily im staggered at the torque of the thing. In the 172 or even my 328, very little happens below 3k, but in the MC you can be in 4th at 30mph doing...
God its good isnt it!
Sounds absolutely superb!
Been hammering the Z3 M Coupe round the ring using the steering wheel, all the assists off and sim steering. Makes GT5 look a bit silly, and thats coming from a lifelong GT fan.
a well sorted 328i with some goodies on it is dangerously close to US-spec m3 territory.
Mine doesnt have the LSD. If i was going to keep it long term it would be my next purchase.
