Big thumbs up from me too. Changes the character of the car that bit more from shopping bus to B-road hooligan.
AFAIK Throttle response is improved as the engine isnt wasting energy trying to rotate itself - the power reaches the wheels quicker in theory.
Ha! I have to admit i was rather straightlining some of the bends when i was pressing on a bit more!
The pictures were taken on my n900 by the way, using the HDR app. Its huge but i love my nokia.
Seeing your pictures yesterday made me go up today.
Never done the road from Settle to Ribblehead in the day before, and have to say i completely agree.
I was there around 2/3pm but it was still damn near deserted, fantastic stuff.
Set off out for a run to the Buttertubs Pass today, and after a hundred or so miles, was faced with this at the start of the road:
Wasnt too miffed though as the road from Settle to Hawes past the ribblehead viaduct is amazing!
Took these with my phone so the quality isnt great.

As many have already mentioned this isnt that uncommon.
We sold our old 60's MkII Jag to a dude from Germany. We sent him a couple of pictures, and he sent two chaps with a trailer and a load of cash all the way from Deutschland. Apparently everyone in his town had E-Types and MKII's were...
Just watched them both again and every time i see that beetle 4-up it gives me the chills.
Also genuine credit to the guy at 1.04 in the first vid who finds a faster line through adenauer
Seen this before but still amazes me.
f**k going round in that white open-top beetle, which I imagine was without seatbelts. Instant death if it rolls surely?
Its an awful feeling when you get it wrong. I spun coming out of kallenhard on my first ever lap. My arse took a massive bite out of...
Love how the garb doesnt even make sense.
"Manufacturers restrict vehicles by Mapping and limiting Fuel injection into your engine, This tells the CPU to Remap to a map of higher bhp and to limit less."
I wont even open that can of worms again.
My thoughts and dealings with said company are well documented on here, as hard as Henk tried to delete them.
Completely comical. You have to feel bad for the chap whos paid good money on the promise of good gains.
Assuming his car was similar in delivery to your standard car shown in the graph, its actually lost him 6-7 FtLb of torque right where you need it day to day at 2600rpm.
I love stuff like this, really interesting.
Whats the business called? I might want some bodywork doing in the near future. PM me if you dont want to say here.
Thats interesting to know, it seems like the leak / whatever is causing the steam is coming from the middle of the rad on the engine side, so that would tie in.
Realised there was a big pool of water under my car, checked the coolant and it was well under minimum. Had only checked it 5 days previous and it was fine.
Filled it back up and bunged some radweld in, which seems to have stopped the leaking, however when the car is stood and gets hot, steam...
nah dont worry. In terms of places local to yourself i have no idea.
Never used them myself but have heard quite a lot of praise for these people http://auto-paint.co.uk/carpaint/ previously mentioned in the thread
