New genuine Valeo/Renault coilpack to replace a Bremi ECP one I bought a few months months ago
New Genuine Injectors x 4, cleaned everything clinically, rail, ports wiring plugs etc. Old injectors looked original and very worn end of life
It then idled and drove at low revs...
Mine also stinks of fuel, and when I'm giving it some action, the cat stinks, so unsure if it's breaking/broken down!?
Re: Injectors... remove the fuel rail guard, then with the engine running disconnect each wiring plug one at a time and listen for running differences. However this doesn't...

I tried this but the difference was very minimal. Any fault codes? Throttle body? Clean the plugs up and TDC sensor, MAP Sensor? Leads / Coilpack very old? CTS?
As you know I have the same sort of issues so will try and keep you updated

Hard to tell mate? I was convinced mine was as it seems to always have the edge on other 172's I've been up against, unless it's another map but the rs tuner doesn't show anything. I have so many memory codes to clear lol

Mine is a 53 172 Cup so unsure what software differences are on normal 172 and 182 varients
It has some RS Tuner characteristics such as what seems to be ever so slightly higher revving and idle speed but only slightly.
Cold running is appalling though, so I'm buying the 97/98RON Map now as Henk has been speedy on replies and unlock code etc, only got it Monday!

I thought it would clearly state a date of when and what map is on there and by program: rstuner/fastchip but mine doesn't so questioning if it's a different map or not dine at all. But it revs a little higher for sure
Has anyone got a screenshot or the software / calibration numbers of a mapped / unmapped car?
I'm unsure if mine is or isn't mapped as the RS Tuner doesn't seem to show it is, but it revs higher than 7000rpm

RS Tuner bought, unlocked, and connected tonight...
It looks as though it is not remapped after all, so at least I'm feeling better about my 95 RON period ! - I have e-mailed Fastchip for confirmation
Disconnecting the post cat lambda did register the other day, but is now a memory...
It's being able to get up there and not having a car to use, may come to that as he sorted the belts etc spot on :up:
